Abstract

Cette invention concerne des méthodes de production d'acides gras insaturés, de préférence des acides gras polyinsaturés conjugués, tels que l'acide linoléique conjugué (CLA), par expression recombinante de désaturases provenant d'insectes de l'ordre des lépidoptères. Cette expression intervient, de préférence, dans un organisme choisi parmi des organismes végétaux, des levures, des champignons ou des algues. L'invention concerne également des cassettes d'expression recombinante servant à l'expression recombinante de désaturases provenant d'insectes de l'ordre des lépidoptères. Elle concerne en outre les organismes transgéniques transformés à l'aide de ces cassettes.
