Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE TRIGLICERìDEOS COMPREENDENDO áCIDOS GRAXOS INSATURADOS, TRIGLICERìDEO, USO DO MESMO, POLIPEPTìDEO COM ATIVIDADE E-11 DESATURASE, SEQuêNCIA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO, CASSETE DE EXPRESSãO RECOMBINANTE, VETOR DE EXPRESSãO RECOMBINANTE, E ORGANISMO TRANSGêNICO". A invenção refere-se a processos para a produção de ácidos graxos insaturados, preferivelmente de ácidos graxos poliinsaturados conjugados como ácido linoleico conjugado, (CLA) pela expressão recombinante de desaturases de insetos da ordem Lepidoptera. A expressão preferivelmente ocorre em um organismo selecionado dentre o grupo de organismos de plantas, leveduras, fungos e algas. Também de acordo com a invenção são os cassetes de expressão recombinantes para a expressão recombinante de desaturases de insetos da ordem Lepidoptera, e os organismos transgênicos transformados com os mesmos.
