Abstract

The invention relates to a work bench comprising a worktop (1) having a working platform (2) which can be displaced along the worktop. At least one recess (4) for detachably receiving an object or an insert (5) is integrated into the frame (3) of said platform. According to the invention, a cooker (40) is arranged on the worktop (1) of the work bench in such a way that a bottom surface (41) of the cooking chamber (42) thereof is located in the same plane as the worktop (1). The inventive work bench has multiple uses and can, for example, be used in a kitchen. It provides at least one additional working surface which is used only as required.

The invention relates to a work table, the upper end of which forms a worktop. Such work tables can be used wherever mainly manual tasks have to be carried out at a certain working height. It was found that the available work area is often very narrow.

A solution to this problem is described for a household kitchen in DE 295 10 708 Ul. The design of a worktop of a kitchen unit disclosed therein has, in addition to the worktop present on a base cabinet, an additional work surface which can be plugged into the rear wall of the kitchen unit. Objects can be placed on it or activities can be carried out separately from the worktop. Another solution is known from DE 296 02 850 Ul. Additional shelving parts are sunk into the top cupboard of a kitchen unit and can be moved vertically into the area near the worktop.

DE 195 05 392 AI also discloses a kitchenette, which relates to an additional worktop fastened to the rear wall of a kitchenette. This additional worktop is pivoted around a joint and can be folded towards the rear wall when not in use.

These solutions known from the prior art have in common that they can be retracted or folded away or removed when not needed when additional work surfaces or additional storage options are required 1> Provide additional work surfaces. However, these systems have a decisive disadvantage, which can be seen in the fact that the worktops or shelves made available are only preassembled at a specific place on the worktable. They therefore lack a flexible application.

It is often the case that the person working at the work table wants to perform different tasks on several sections of the work table. If a corresponding storage option is required in each of these areas, this requirement cannot be satisfied with the aforementioned designs.

A flexible design of a work table in the form of a kitchen module is described in DE 299 10 814 Ul. It presents a work table in which individual modules of a household kitchen that can be replaced as required can be used. Although this solution has the advantage that the work table can be designed and used very flexibly, the individual modules that are not required must be stored separately. This creates additional difficulties and is therefore disadvantageous.

Another problem is often that a large number of objects have to be processed in a relatively narrow range. The partially required movements of the objects by a part of the

The invention is based on the technical problem of providing a work table which not only provides at least one further level as a work surface, but can also be used flexibly and also enables larger quantities or a large number of individual products to be processed. The invention is also based on the task of creating a way to avoid physically arduous, strenuous and possibly health-endangering lifting activities during food preparation.

This task is solved with the features of claim 1. Further embodiments of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.

A work table according to the invention accordingly has a work platform that can be moved along its work surface. At least one recess is made in the frame of the work platform, which is used for releasably receiving an object or an insert. An additional, second working level has been created with the work platform. This can be used very flexibly and can be adapted to the respective requirements, because on the one hand it enables the inclusion of various inserts or objects and on the other hand it can be moved along the worktop. The mobility can be realized by moving or moving the entire work platform along the worktop.

Accordingly, the work platform according to the invention can always be used in the area of the work table where it is needed. If objects are to be moved from one part of the worktable to another, this can also be done using the work platform placed on the worktop. The worktop and the work platform as well as the inserts can be made of different materials depending on need, taste and requirements. Metal, wood, stone and plastic are only examples here.

When using a work table according to the invention as a kitchen work station, it also makes sense to think of a design that is insensitive to water, water vapor, acids, alkalis or coloring substances. In addition, mechanical or thermal influences should not affect the quality of the surface.

When using a work table according to the invention in the kitchen area, it is possible, for example, to provide the work platform with a large trough-shaped insert made of metal, which is inserted into the recess in the frame of the work platform. The work platform arranged above the kitchen stove could be used to use several hotplates of the kitchen stove at the same time, so that a large kitchen-like work opportunity can be created. This could be used to prepare meals that would otherwise not be possible in a normal household. This also shows another advantage of a work table according to the invention with a work platform. The operator does not have to carry the heavyweight containers from one place to another, but can move them along the worktop with the help of the work platform, since this is designed to be movable or displaceable.

Last but not least, it is also possible to design the work platform over several days, so that a work table according to the invention, the work surface of which has a work platform that can be moved along the work surface, has created a very simple but flexibly usable possibility of providing additional work surface (s) by providing additional work level (s) ) available too s ask. Embodiments of the invention are seen, for example, in ensuring the mobility of the work platform along the work surface by means of rolling or rolling bodies present on the frame of the work platform.

Another design option is to provide a guide on the worktop that is coupled to at least one slide or roller skate provided on the frame of the work platform. A sliding or roller skate is to be understood here as a body which can be moved in a sliding or rolling manner along the surface assigned to it.

In order to keep the mobility of the work platform along the worktop in defined paths, it is also possible to move the rolling or rolling elements along a guide of the worktop. A combination of rolling or rolling elements and sliding guides is of course also possible. For example, a rolling or rolling element could be attached to part of the work platform, while a sliding movement via sliding elements is provided on another part. Any possibility of being able to move the work platform on a controllable path can be regarded as a guide. It would even be conceivable to use simple tensioning ropes that guide the work platform along a track or guide rails on which both rolling elements and sliding elements can be placed. The solution according to the invention also represents an advantageous possibility of making optimal use of the workspace present in a kitchen and making it ergonomic.

A stove that can be used for the worktable according to the invention should have the door on one of its side surfaces, through which the working platform can be moved into the cooking space of the stove.

According to further refinements of the invention, the door can be guided along a guideway, for example for opening and closing, or can be fastened to the cooker in a plane parallel to the outer wall of the cooker. In addition, it is possible, by means of a very simple attachment of the door to the stove, to fasten it only pivotably to the stove by at least one hinge.

According to a further proposal, to facilitate opening or closing the door, it is possible to use a lever mechanism, an electromechanical mechanism or a hydraulically or pneumatically assisted lifting mechanism.

A considerable simplification is also to make the door lockable at least in an open position. This means that the work platform can be moved directly from the worktop of the work table into the oven's cooking space without injuries or without the door having to be stopped. After the working platform is in the cooking space, the door lock is released. This either falls automatically, which can be supported or dampened by the mechanisms described above, or the door is closed manually by the operator.

In order to be able to monitor the preparation of the dishes, known stoves have a viewing window in their front area. To facilitate cleaning of the stove for a worktable according to the invention, the front of the stove should be removable, pivotable or hinged to the stove. Another problem has so far been that the partly fatty vapors are released to the environment in a stove and are deposited there in a disruptive manner. In principle, the intention is to surround the entire cooking space with a chamber system which consists of several individual chambers which are connected to one another by openings which can be changed in their cross sections. A controllable fan advantageously ensures that the stove's exhaust air is extracted. The fan can be part of the cooker. In order to be able to optimally dissipate the heat recorded in the stove surroundings and thus prevent damage to the work table or the worktop, according to a further development of the invention, it is proposed to use heat-conducting insert elements in the worktop, at least in sections, or air ducts for cavitative ventilation or heat dissipation into the worktop to integrate. These heat-dissipating systems are preferably useful in the area of the cooker. Of course, however, they can also be provided in the sections where a kitchen stove with hotplates and / or an additional baking or grill unit is present.

Consequently, in addition to the stove arranged on one side of the worktop, according to the present invention, a further kitchen stove can be provided which can be integrated into the worktop in a manner known per se or can be set up separately.

Since a work table according to the invention can be used in a particularly advantageous manner as a work table for a kitchenette in a household kitchen, this example will also be used below to illustrate the features according to the invention. Thus, FIG. 1 shows a view from above of a kitchenette in a household kitchen without wall units arranged above it. The kitchen unit has a worktop 1 on which two work platforms 2 are movably arranged. The work platforms 2 each have a sliding or roller skate 11 in their rear area near the wall, which is coupled to a bevel 17 designed as a guide 10. The sliding or roller skates 11 can thus be moved along this bevel 17. The frame 3 of the work platform 2 has an approximately central recess 4 into which an insert 5 has been inserted. This insert 5, which is designed as a tub in the example shown in FIG. can be used to prepare larger quantities of food. In addition to the work platform 2 shown in the upper part of the figure, a hob 20 of a kitchen range is shown on the left. Another embodiment of a work table according to the invention will now be described in more detail with reference to the sectional illustration in FIG. 4. The worktop 1 shown therein is also attached to a base cabinet 23, which in turn has a permanent connection to a wall 22. In the exemplary embodiment shown in FIG. 4, the worktop 1 has a cover layer 12, which in the present case was designed as a sheet metal coating. The stainless steel sheet is a profiled sheet, so that this sheet has a bevel 16 in the front section, ie near the edge area 14 of the worktop 1. In contrast to the variant of a worktable which is otherwise of identical construction in FIG. 4, the worktable shown in FIG. 5 shows a sectional illustration which illustrates the fastening of the cover layer 12 to the worktop 1. The cover layer 12 has at regular intervals a plurality of anchors 13, which are designed as pins and are fastened to the underside of the cover layer 12, that is to say to the side of this cover layer 12 facing the worktop 1. The anchors 13 protrude into corresponding depressions 32 of the worktop 1. A hardening material 33 is introduced into these depressions, so that the cover layer 12 is permanently connected to the worktop 1. FIGS. 6 and 7 show two further design variants of a work table according to the invention in section. They differ only in the way they are fastened.

Thus, in the work table shown in FIG. 6, the indirect locking of the work platform 2 on the work surface 1 consists of a support plate 19 inserted into the frame 3 of the work platform 2. The plug connection 38 of the support plate 19 has a pin 39 which fits into a corresponding bore in the Frame 3 of the work platform 2 is used. Another fastening option is shown in the illustration in FIG. 7. Here, the working platform 2 is again provided with a support plate 19, which is connected to the frame 3 via the above-described plug-in connection 38, consisting of a pin 39, which is inserted into a corresponding recess in the frame 3 of the working platform 2. The support plate 19 is fixed in its lower area following the cover layer 12 by means of a screw connection on the cover layer 12, so that the working platform 2 is locked in its position. The screw connection consists of a clamping shoe 35 into which a screw element 18 is screwed. The screw element works against the platen 19 and thus pulls the clamping shoe together. This clamps the fold 16 of the cover layer 12 against the platen 19 and thus effects the required mounting.

FIG. 8 shows a possible cut for the design of the frame 3 of a work platform 2, as can be used for a work table according to the invention. The overall profile made of sheet metal for the production of the frame 3 was cut here by means of a laser cutting technique or by means of water jet technology. It has elongated holes 24 which can be used to hold the necessary utensils after the completion of the frame 3. In addition, the recess 4 is introduced approximately centrally, into which inserts of the work platform can later be inserted. Furthermore, various holes 25 are made in the sheet metal part. These bores 25 are used for later attachment of further add-on parts such as the sliding or roller skates 11 or the rolling or rolling bodies 6 or can be used for inserting the pin 39 of the support plate 19.

FIG. 9 shows an exemplary embodiment variant of a further work table according to the invention. This consists of a worktop 1, which in the present case has an L-shaped course.

In the right part of FIG. 9, the work table shown is provided with a stove 40. This cooker is arranged in the manner according to the invention in such a way that the surface of the worktop 1 runs in one plane with a bottom surface of the cooking space of the cooker 40 and these thus occupy a common plane. Thus, after opening a door 43 closing the cooking space of the cooker 40, the work platform 2 can be transferred directly into the cooking space of the cooker 40 without the person working on the kitchen unit having to do any lifting work for this. In order to be able to observe the preparation of the dishes, a viewing window 48 is embedded in the area 47 of the front of the cooker 40. As can be seen more clearly from FIG. 12, the front 47 can be detached from the body of the cooker 40 as a whole. For this purpose, handles 58 are attached in the upper part of the range shown in FIGS. 11 and 12. The front 47 can be detached by means of these handles. This is useful, for example, if the stove is to be cleaned. In the illustration in FIG. 11, the working platform 2 located in the cooking chamber 42 was indicated by dashed lines. The surface of the worktop 1 lies in one plane with the bottom surface 41 of the cooking space 42. From the sectional view in FIG. 12, it can be clearly seen that the cooker 40 has a chamber system.
