Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Mastsystem für Segelboote mit wenigstens einem Bootsrumpf (4) und wenigstens einem Mast (2), der mittels eines am Bootsrumpf befestigten Mastfusses (8) festgelegt ist, wobei entweder der Mastfuss (8) um eine zur Längsachse (9) des Bootes parallele Achse verschwenkbar ist und beim Segeln am Wind oder mit raumen Wind der Mast (2) jeweils etwa in die vertikale Richtung ausrichtbar ist; oder zwei Masten (2, 2') vorgesehen sind, die symmetrisch zu der durch die Längsachse (9) laufenden Mittelebene (3) des Bootes angeordnet sind und deren Mastspitzen (16, 16') entweder zur Mittelebene (3) des Bootes hin geneigt sind oder an denen im Bereich von deren Mastspitzen über ein Gelenk jeweils ein starres Segel (= Tragfläche) schwenkbar befestigt ist.
