Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Regelung der Verstärkung eines hochfrequenten Signals, eine Sende- und/oder Empfangseinheit und ein Kommunikationssystem. Um ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zur verbesserten Nutzung eines Polar-Loop-Konzepts in einem Sender insbesondere für eine Mobilfunkverbindung zu schaffen wird bei einem Verfahren zur Regelung der Verstärkung eines hochfrequenten Signals, bei dem Phasenlage und Amplitude eines fehlerfreien Eingangssignals (Usoll)voneinander getrennt mit einem definierten Teil eines Ausgangssignals (Uout) verglichen und nachgeregelt werden, eine Ausgangsspannung (Uc) eines Batteriespannungsmodulators (M) als Maß für einen Fehler an einem Ausgang eines Senderverstärkers (PA) bewertet und zur Veranlassung einer Korrektur herangezogen wird.
