Abstract

L'invention concerne un appareil d'éclairage à l'épreuve des explosions (1) qui comprend un boîtier (2) et un moyen luminescent (4) fixé au boîtier par au moins une douille (3) et pouvant être alimenté en électricité. Cette douille peut être raccordée à un câble d'alimentation (6) et ce boîtier peut être fermé par un couvercle transparent (7) et ne peut s'ouvrir qu'à l'état hors tension. L'invention vise à améliorer cet appareil d'éclairage pour que le moyen luminescent ou l'appareil d'éclairage dans son ensemble puisse être mis hors circuit de manière sûre, simple et économique tout en garantissant une protection contre les contacts accidentels des pièces sous tension de l'appareil d'éclairage et le respect des exigences des appareils d'éclairage à l'épreuve des explosions. A cet effet, le boîtier est pourvu à l'extérieur d'un contre-élément (8) du connecteur. Ce contre-élément (8) peut être relié, notamment à l'épreuve des explosions, à un élément enfichable (9) correspondant du connecteur du câble d'alimentation (6), le couvercle (7) étant verrouillé en position de fermeture (10) jusqu'à ce que le connecteur soit débranché.
