Il est en outre prévu au moins deux rouleaux dévideurs montés dans un bâti, dont l'un au moins est moteur. Le bâti est monté pivotant autour d'un axe perpendiculairement au plan de la bande. L'axe de pivotement du bâti peut, par ailleurs, être décalé perpendiculairement au sens de déplacement de la bande. Les rouleaux dévideurs peuvent être profilés en fonction du profil d'épaisseur de la bande. Les rouleaux de pression non entraînés peuvent être formés par des segments de différents diamètres qui sont placés sur un axe fixe. De préférence, les rouleaux dévideurs sont munis de moyens de rotation à roue libre.
