Definitions

  • the invention relates to a water outlet fitting with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a water outlet fitting can be seen, for example, from DE 31 35 861 C2.
  • a water outlet fitting is known from WO 95/29300, in which both infrared and ultraviolet light is fed into water jets emerging from outlet openings.
  • the light in the fitting head is radiated into the water flowing through the fitting head through a transparent window, see above that light also exits through the outlet openings of the water.
  • the problem here is that a large part of the light radiated into the water cannot exit through the outlet openings, as a result of which the intensity of the emerging light is reduced.
  • limescale deposits on the transparent window reduce the intensity at places that are difficult or difficult to access from the outside.
  • a water outlet fitting in which a plurality of water outlet openings surround at least one centrally arranged light outlet opening and are connected to the water line via an annular space surrounding a light pipe in the area of the fitting head.
  • the light is guided to the fitting head via light guides arranged in the water outlet fitting.
  • This requires not only a very complex structure of the water outlet fitting, but also a precise coupling of the water outlet fitting, for example to a hose, in particular a precise coupling of the light guides to the light guides arranged in the hose, in order to ensure a high intensity of the emitted light.
  • Another problem with such water outlet fittings is that longer light guide paths result in a reduction in the intensity of the emitted light.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to provide a water outlet fitting of the generic type. form that an optimal light emission of high intensity is made possible with a simple construction, while at the same time an easy cleaning possibility of the light exit openings should be given.
  • optical fibers for light conduction or the like can advantageously be omitted.
  • Another advantage of this arrangement is that the water only comes into contact with the outlet side of the light outlet opening and not, as for example in the case of the water outlet fitting known from WO 95/29300, also with the location of the light radiation in the fitting head. In this way, deposits or contaminants can be easily removed.
  • the arrangement of the water outlet opening and the light outlet opening can be designed in different ways.
  • An advantageous embodiment provides that the at least one light outlet opening is arranged centrally and is surrounded by a plurality of water outlet openings.
