Abstract
Das Steuerventil (10) für die Einspritzanlage eines Dieselmotors mit einem Kraftstoffinjektor mit einem Druckverstärker umfaßt ein Gehäuse (12) mit einem Eingangsanschluß (16) und einem Ausgangsanschluß (18) sowie einen Ventilkörper (20) mit einer ersten Ventilfläche (22), die in einem ersten Zustand an einem ersten Ventilsitz (24) anliegt und in einem zweiten Zustand davon abgehoben ist. Ein Ventilelement (36) am Ventilkörper (20) weist eine zweite Ventilfläche (38) auf, die im ersten Zustand von einem zweiten Ventilsitz (40) abgehoben ist und im zweiten Zustand daran anliegt.

Beschreibung
Steuerventil für die Einspritzanlage eines Dieselmotors
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Steuerventil für die Einspritzanlage eines Dieselmotors gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1. Eine solche Anordnung ist aus der US-PS 5 407 131 bekannt .
Der Dieselmotor mit Direkteinspritzung ist die Verbrennungskraftmaschine mit dem höchsten thermodynamischen Wirkungsgrad. Hinsichtlich der Kraftstoffeinspritzung sind für verschiedene Motoren unterschiedliche Technologien im Einsatz. Besonders im NKW-Bereich werden Systeme mit Druckverstarkung im Kraftstoffmiektor eingesetzt. Ein Beispiel für einen
Kraftstoffmiektor mit druckverstarkender Übersetzung ist in der US-PS 5 460 329 beschrieben. Dabei gelangt der Kraftstoff über ein als Schieberventil ausgestaltetes elektromagnetisches Steuerventil zu dem Druckverstarker im Injektor. Über die elektromagnetische Ansteuerung des Steuerventils wird zu festgelegten Zeiten bzw. Kurbelwinkeln der Kraftstoff vom Druckverstarker unter hohen Druck gesetzt. Der unter hohen Druck gesetzte Kraftstoff bewirkt dann auf die herkömmliche Art, daß die Ventilnadel des Injektors von ihrem Sitz abhebt und den Weg für den Kraftstoff zu der Einspritzdüse des Injektors freigibt und der Kraftstoff m den Brennraum des Dieselmotors eingespritzt wird.
Eine andere Art von Steuerventil für einen KraftstoffInjektor mit einem nockenbetriebenen Druckverstarkerkolben ist in der eingangs genannten US-PS 5 407 131 beschrieben. Das Steuerventil ist hier ein Sitzventil, das normalerweise offen ist und das mit Hilfe eines Elektromagneten geschlossen werden kann. Im offenen Zustand fließt der von einer Niederdruck- Kraftstoffforderpumpe aus dem Tank beforderte Kraftstoff durch das Steuerventil zum Tank zurück.
Eine Kraftstoffeinspritzung in den Brennraum eines Zylinders des Dieselmotors wird dadurch eingeleitet, daß eine elektrische bzw. elektronische Motorsteuerung den Elektromagneten des Steuerventils ansteuert. Die vom Elektromagneten erzeugte magnetische Kraft bewirkt, daß das Sitzventil schließt. Der Kraftstoff im Injektor, der nun nicht mehr abfließen kann, wird in der Folge vom nockenbetätigten Kolben des Druckverstärkers unter Druck gesetzt. Wenn der Druck den vorgegebenen Düsennadelöffnungsdruck erreicht hat, beginnt die Einsprit- zung.
Die Kraftstoffeinspritzung wird dadurch beendet, daß der Elektromagnet nicht weiter mit Strom versorgt wird. Nach dem Zusammenbrechen des elektromagnetischen Feldes öffnet sich das Sitzventil wieder, so daß der Kraftstoff wieder abfließen kann und der Druck im Injektor abfällt.
Das Öffnen und Schließen des Sitzventils erfolgt natürlich in Korrelation zu den Stellungen bzw. Bewegungen des Kolbens im Zylinder des Motors und des mechanisch mit der Kurbelwelle in Verbindung stehenden Druckverstärkerkolbens des Injektors.
Die bekannten Anordnungen haben den Nachteil, daß sowohl bei den Schieberventilen als auch bei den Sitzventilen die Dicht- funktion nicht ausreicht. Die Schieberventile sind nur ungenügend über den Dichtspalt abgedichtet, und bei den Sitzventilen wird die Dichtfunktion vom Sitz nur in einer Richtung übernommen.
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es, das eingangs genannte Steuerventil so auszugestalten, daß die Dichtfunktion verbessert ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß mit den im Patentanspruch 1 angegebenen Maßnahmen gelöst. Bevorzugte Ausführungsformen der Erfindung sind in den Unteransprüchen angeführt.
Die obige Aufgabe wird demnach erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß bei dem Steuerventil, das ein Gehäuse mit einer Ventilkammer und mit einem Eingangsanschluß und einem Ausgangsanschluß sowie einen in der Ventilkammer axial bewegli- chen Ventilkörper mit einer ersten Ventilfläche umfaßt, der in einem ersten Zustand an einem ersten Ventilsitz am Gehäuse anliegt und dadurch die Fluidverbindung zwischen Eingangsanschluß und Ausgangsanschluß unterbindet, wobei in einem zweiten Zustand die erste Ventilfläche vom ersten Ventilsitz ab- gehoben ist und dadurch die Fluidverbindung zwischen Eingangsanschluß und Ausgangsanschluß hergestellt ist, ein Ventilelement vorgesehen ist, das am Ventilkörper befestigt ist und das eine zweite Ventilfläche aufweist, die einem zweiten Ventilsitz am Gehäuse gegenüberliegt, wobei im ersten Zustand die zweite Ventilfläche vom zweiten Ventilsitz abgehoben ist und dadurch eine Fluidverbindung zwischen Ausgangsanschluß und einem Rücklauf hergestellt ist und im zweiten Zustand die zweite Ventilfläche am zweiten Ventilsitz anliegt und dadurch die Fluidverbindung zum Rücklauf sperrt.
Das erfindungsgemäße Steuerventil ist somit ein fast vollständig druckausgleichendes Sitzventil mit zwei Sitzkonfigurationen, die jeweils die Dichtfunktion übernehmen. Durch diese Konstruktion ergibt sich der Vorteil einer Funktions- Verbesserung durch den Druckausgleich in jeder Stellung des Ventils. Dadurch werden die benötigten Verstellkräfte minimiert. Außerdem können die beiden Sitzkonfigurationen des erfindungsgemäßen Sitzventils unabhängig voneinander gefertigt und eingestellt werden, so daß die Herstellung des Sitzven- tils einfach ist. So läßt sich das Ventilelement plan auf den Ventilkörper aufschrauben, wobei es sich selbständig an seinem vorzugsweise kegeligen Ventilsitz zentriert.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird im folgenden an- hand der Zeichnung näher erläutert.
Die Figur der Zeichnung zeigt einen Schnitt durch ein Steuerventil für einen KraftstoffInjektor .
In der Zeichnung ist schematisch eine Schnittansicht eines Steuerventils für einen Kraftstoffinjektor mit Druckverstärker für die Einspritzanlage eines Dieselmotors dargestellt. Jeder Zylinder des Dieselmotors ist mit einem solchen Kraftstoffinjektor versehen.
Das gezeigte Steuerventil 10 umfaßt ein Ventilgehäuse 12 mit einer Ventilkammer 14. Das Gehäuse 12 weist einen Eingangsanschluß 16 und einen Ausgangsanschluß 18 auf. An den Eingangsanschluß 16 ist die KraftstoffZuleitung von einem (nicht gezeigten) Druckspeicher angeschlossen, der eine gewisse Menge an einem Medium, z.B. Kraftstoff oder Öl, unter einem relativ geringen Druck enthält. Vom Ausgangsanschluß 18 gelangt das Medium gegebenenfalls zum Druckverstärker des Kraftstoffinjektors (ebenfalls nicht gezeigt) . Sowohl der Eingangsanschluß 16 als auch der Ausgangsanschluß 18 münden in die Ven- tilkammer 14 im Ventilgehäuse 12, das heißt genauer gesagt jeweils in eine umlaufende Nut 16a bzw. 18a in der Wand der Ventilkammer 14. Die beiden Nuten 16a, 18a sind in Axialrichtung der Ventilkammer 14 beabstandet.
In der Ventilkammer 14 ist axial begrenzt beweglich ein Ventilkörper 20 angeordnet. Der Ventilkörper 20 weist eine kegelige Ventilfläche 22 in der Form einer Schulter am Ventilkörper 20 auf, die an einem dazu passenden Ventilsitz 24 in der Form eines Vorsprungs in der Ventilkammer 14 zur Anlage kom- men kann.
Die Ventilfläche 22 und der Ventilsitz 24 sind in Axialrichtung zwischen den beiden Nuten 16a, 18a am Eingangsanschluß 16 bzw. am Ausgangsanschluß 18 vorgesehen. Die Ventilfläche 22 am Ventilkörper 20 und der Ventilsitz 24 sind damit so angeordnet, daß, wenn die Ventilfläche 22 am Ventilsitz 24 anliegt, die Fluidverbindung vom Eingangsanschluß 16 über die
Ventilkammer 14 zum Ausgangsanschluß 18 durch den Ventilkor- per 20 unterbrochen wird. Die Anlage der Ventilflache 22 am Ventilsitz 24 wird durch eine Druckfeder 26 bewirkt.
Bei offenem Ventil, das heißt wenn die Ventilflache 22 vom Ventilsitz 24 abgehoben ist, besteht zwischen Eingangsanschluß 16 und Ausgangsanschluß 18 eine Fluidverbindung.
Am Ventilkorper 20 ist, zum Beispiel mittels einer Schraube 28, in der axialen Verlängerung des Ventilkorpers 20 eine Ankerplatte 30 befestigt. Der Ankerplatte 30 liegt eine Ma- gnetemheit 32 mit einem Elektromagneten gegenüber. Der Elektromagnet kann von einer (nicht gezeigten) Steuereinheit angesteuert werden. Wenn die Magnetemheit 32 Strom zugeführt erhalt, wird die Ankerplatte 30 und der damit verbundene Ventilkorper 20 gegen die Wirkung der Druckfeder 26 axial in Richtung Magnetemheit 32 gezogen. Die Ventilflache 22 wird dabei von ihrem Ventilsitz 24 abgehoben und die Fluidverbindung zwischen Eingangsanschluß 16 und Ausgangsanschluß 18 hergestellt.
An der anderen Seite des Ventilkorpers 20 ist, zum Beispiel mittels einer weiteren Schraube 34, ein Tellerventilelement 36 mit einer kegeligen Ventilflache 38 koaxial am Ventilkor- per 20 befestigt. Der Ventilflache 38 liegt ein kegelförmiger Ventilsitz 40 in der Form einer Schulter in der Wand der Ventilkammer 14 gegenüber, an der sich der Durchmesser der Ventilkammer 14 vergrößert.
Die zweite Ventilflache 38 am Tellerventilelement 36 zeigt axial m die entgegengesetzte Richtung wie die erste Ventilflache 22 am Ventilkorper 20. Der axiale Offnungsabstand zwischen der ersten Ventilflache 22 am Ventilkorper 20 und der zweiten Ventilflache 38 am Tellerventilelement 36 ist gleich groß wie der axiale Offnungsabstand des ersten Ventilsitzes 24 für die erste Ventilflache 22 vom zweiten Ventilsitz 40 für das Tellerventilelement 36. Der Ventilkorper 20
kann sich daher axial zwischen den beiden Stellungen "Anlage der ersten Ventilfläche 22 am ersten Ventilsitz 24" (erster Zustand) und "Anlage der zweiten Ventilfläche 38 am zweiten Ventilsitz 40" (zweiter Zustand) hin und her bewegen.
Im ersten Zustand, dem Ausgangszustand, der in der Zeichnung dargestellt ist, ist die hydraulische Verbindung oder Fluidverbindung des Druckmediums vom Speicher zum Druckverstärker im Injektor unterbrochen, da der Ventilkörper 20 von der Druckfeder 26 in der Darstellung der Zeichnung nach unten von der Magneteinheit 32 weg gedrückt wird und deshalb die erste Ventilfläche 22 abdichtend am ersten Ventilsitz 24 anliegt. Der Ventilkörper 20 verschließt somit, wie bereits oben erwähnt, den Eingangsanschluß 16.
In diesem Zustand ist die zweite Ventilfläche 38 vom zweiten Ventilsitz 40 abgehoben. Das Druckmedium kann vom Ausgangsanschluß 18 über eine Leitung 42 im Ventilgehäuse 12 zum Tellerventilelement 36 und, da dieses offen ist, weiter über ei- nen dem Tellerventilelement nachgeschalteten Rücklaufanschluß 44 abfließen. Dadurch erfolgt ein Druckausgleich auf der Ausgangsseite des Steuerventils 10.
Eine Druckentlastungsöffnung 46, die in Höhe der Ankerplatte 30 aus dem Ventilgehäuse 12 herausführt und die mit dem drucklosen Rücklauf verbunden ist, verhindert, daß sich durch Leckströme ein Druck zwischen dem Ventilkörper 20 und dem Ventilgehäuse 12 aufbaut, der eine Betätigung des Steuerventils 10 erschweren könnte.
Die Einspritzung wird eingeleitet durch eine Ansteuerung, d.h. Bestromung der Magneteinheit 32. Die entstehende Magnetkraft zieht die Ankerplatte 30 in axialer Richtung zur Magneteinheit 32, so daß sich die mit der Ankerplatte 30 ver- bundene Ventileinheit aus Ventilkörper 20 und Tellerventilelement 36 in der Darstellung der Zeichnung nach oben bewegt, bis das Tellerventilelement 36 an seinem Sitz 40 anliegt. Die
am zweiten Ventilsitz 40 anliegende zweite Ventilfläche 38 des Tellerventilelements 36 unterbricht die Verbindung zwischen dem Ausgangsanschluß 18 und dem Rücklauf. Gleichzeitig wird durch das Abheben der ersten Ventilfläche 22 des Ventilkörpers 20 vom ersten Ventilsitz 24 die Verbindung zwischen dem Eingangsanschluß 16 und dem Ausgangsanschluß 18 hergestellt. Das Druckmedium bzw. der Kraftstoff kann damit vom Speicher zum Druckverstärker strömen und der Druck durch den Druckverstärker erhöht werden, bis die Einspritzung erfolgt.
Das Einspritzende wird erreicht, wenn die Bestromung der Magneteinheit 32 beendet wird. Die Druckfeder 26 schiebt dann den Ventilkörper 20 wieder in die Ausgangslage zurück, bis die erste Ventilfläche 22 am Ventilkörper 20 am ersten Ven- tilsitz 24 anliegt. Gleichzeitig öffnet sich das Tellerventilelement 36. Damit ist einerseits die Verbindung zwischen dem Eingangsanschluß 16 und dem Ausgangsanschluß 18 und damit die Verbindung zwischen Speicher und Druckverstärker unterbrochen und andererseits die Verbindung zwischen Ausgangsanschluß 18 und drucklosem Rücklauf wiederhergestellt.
Claims
1. Steuerventil für die Einspritzanlage eines Dieselmotors mit einem Kraftstoffinjektor mit einem Druckverstärker, dem das Steuerventil (10) vorgeschaltet ist, wobei das Steuerventil (10) ein Gehäuse (12) mit einer Ventilkammer (14) und mit einem Eingangsanschluß (16) und einem Ausgangsanschluß (18) sowie einen in der Ventilkammer (14) axial beweglichen Ventilkörper (20) mit einer ersten Ventilfläche (22) umfaßt, die in einem ersten Zustand an einem ersten Ventilsitz (24) am
Gehäuse (12) anliegt und dadurch die Fluidverbindung zwischen Eingangsanschluß (16) und Ausgangsanschluß (18) unterbindet, wobei in einem zweiten Zustand die erste Ventilfläche (22) vom ersten Ventilsitz (24) abgehoben ist und dadurch die Fluidverbindung zwischen Eingangsanschluß (16) und Ausgangsanschluß (18) hergestellt ist, g e k e n n z e i c h n e t durch ein Ventilelement (36), das am Ventilkörper (20) befestigt ist und das eine zweite Ventilfläche (38) aufweist, die einem zweiten Ventilsitz (40) am Gehäuse (12) gegenüberliegt, wobei im ersten Zustand die zweite Ventilfläche (38) vom zweiten Ventilsitz (40) abgehoben ist und dadurch eine Fluidverbindung zwischen Ausgangsanschluß (18) und einem Rücklauf (44) hergestellt ist und im zweiten Zustand die zweite Ven- tilfläche (38) am zweiten Ventilsitz (40) anliegt und dadurch die Fluidverbindung zum Rücklauf (44) sperrt.
2. Steuerventil nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Ventilelement (36) ein koaxial an dem Ventilkörper (20) befestigtes Tellerventilelement ist.
3. Steuerventil nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die ersten und zweiten Ventilflächen (22, 38) und die ersten und zweiten Ventilsitze (24, 40) kegelförmig sind.
