Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a reinforcement fiber for reinforcing steel fiber reinforced concrete, made of steel wire with a round cross-section, which has a substantially straight center section, to which end anchors are connected at both ends in the form of shorter, bent end sections and which are at least partially corrugated with transverse to Notches extending longitudinally is provided.
  • steel wire fibers are known in a variety of embodiments for reinforcing fiber concrete.
  • the spatial reinforcement is carried out simply by adding the fibers to the concrete, which remains workable as usual.
  • the properties of the concrete ceiling with regard to bending tensile strength, impact strength and the like are influenced equally by the addition quantity - and - in particular by the physical and geometric properties of the steel fibers themselves. In the prior art, this has resulted in the fact that even in the area of wire fibers with a round cross-section a variety of embodiments exist, each of which is optimized with regard to certain properties.
  • a steel wire fiber according to the prior art is described for example in DE 92 07 598 U1.
  • This special embodiment has a straight central section with double bent end sections.
  • This fiber is first made from steel wire with a circular cross-section.
  • To increase the adhesion in the concrete gets to that between the End anchorages lying, essentially straight middle section a flattened shape.
  • an enlarged active surface is formed in the central region, which is known to be advantageous in particular with regard to the prevention of microcracking.

  • the stability of the kinked areas is in any case higher than in the prior art, since there are no indentations which could otherwise lead to weakening due to their notching effect when turning.
  • the particular advantage of the steel wire fiber designed according to the invention lies in an improved microscopic and macroscopic bond, which of course benefits the properties of the fiber concrete as a whole.
  • the notches are only on one side of the wire cross-section.
  • the corrugations, which follow one another axially along a surface line, on the one hand ensure sufficient reinforcing forces in the longitudinal direction of the wire and, on the other hand, due to the asymmetrical local wire cross-section for spatial fixation, which is also secured against rotation and shear.
  • the aforementioned embodiment is further optimized in that the notches are on the side of the wire cross-section to which the end anchorages are bent.
  • This version assumes that all bent end sections and the central section lie in a single plane, namely the fiber plane. It has been found that the corrugation according to the invention has an optimized adhesive effect at this point.
