Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de production de granulats en matériaux polymères, qui comprend les étapes consistant à: plastifier le polymère, diviser les masses plastifiées en cordons individuels, découper les cordons individuels pour former un granulat, refroidir le granulat dans un liquide de refroidissement et séparer le liquide de refroidissement du granulat selon un premier processus de séchage. Le granulat est ensuite soumis au moins à un procédé de lavage dans un liquide de nettoyage qui est à son tour séparé du granulat selon au moins un autre processus de séchage. Au cours du premier processus de séchage, le granulat est, de préférence, exposé à une sollicitation mécanique élevée dans un tamis courbe derrière lequel est placé un sécheur centrifuge, grâce à laquelle les queues sont séparées des grains de granulat. L'autre processus de séchage, réalisé en particulier au moyen d'un tamis courbe derrière lequel est monté un sécheur à lit tourbillonnaire, à lit fluidisé, à couloir ou à vide, se fait de façon douce, dans une large mesure sans érosion.
