Abstract

The invention relates to a container, especially a shaker for spices and such like, which in the area of the lid fastening section (4) of the container body (1) has a lateral discharge opening (6). A lid (2), which is elastically held on the lid fastening section owing to the elastic embodiment of said section, has lateral sprinkling holes (3) and can be blocked in positions which open or close the discharge opening. Since the lid is held elastically, stable intermediate positions can be obtained. The container is characterized by a wide range of possible applications and good sprinkling characteristics.
