Definitions

  • the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece is known from DE-A-195 28 768.
  • floor coverings e.g. Hard floors, long- or short-pile carpets
  • the surface lying on the floor covering to be vacuumed and the suction channel of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece must be designed accordingly.
  • an adjustable additional part is therefore attached to the underside of the mouthpiece, which can be adjusted according to the nature of the surface to be extracted.
  • at least the support surface of the vacuum cleaner nozzle can be changed so that the best possible cleaning result is achieved.
  • the suction channel itself remains unchanged, so that the cleaning result cannot be optimal.
  • the invention has for its object to design a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece of the type described in such a way that an optimal cleaning effect is always achieved with the most varied floor coverings.
  • the achievement of the object is achieved according to the invention in that several suction channels are provided on the mouthpiece part, specially adapted for suction on different floor coverings, which can optionally be coupled in terms of flow to the suction nozzle.
  • the geometry of the individual suction channels can be designed such that an optimal cleaning result is achieved with the correspondingly assigned floor covering. This is when the respective suction channel is used effective contact surface of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece also adapted accordingly for achieving an optimal cleaning result.
  • Suctional activation of a suction channel specially designed for a specific floor covering is achieved in a simple manner in that the mouthpiece part is rotatably connected about a vertical axis to the upper housing part provided with the suction nozzle and can be blocked in a position corresponding to the working direction of the respective suction channel.
  • a suction pipe connected to the suction pipe By means of a suction pipe connected to the suction pipe, a pivoting movement can be exerted on the upper housing part until it locks in a position corresponding to the working direction of the desired suction channel with the mouthpiece part, so that this position is maintained when working with the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece.
  • the contact surface of the mouthpiece part can be adapted in a simple manner by providing support elements on the mouthpiece part, which are activated by the mutual pivoting of the mouthpiece part and upper housing part during the suction activation of at least one of the suction channels into one of the normal support level of the mouthpiece part protruding position can be brought.
  • the contact surface of the underside of the mouthpiece is simultaneously adapted to the type of flooring without an additional switching process.
  • Bristle strips are expediently provided as support elements on the underside of the mouthpiece. Instead of bristle strips, it is also possible to use rolling or sliding bodies which are adjustable in height relative to the underside of the mouthpiece.
  • a sufficient number of adjustment options is provided for most suction work in that three suction channels arranged in a triangular shape are provided on the mouthpiece part.
  • Such a vacuum cleaner mouthpiece can then be adjusted according to the three most common types of floor covering, namely hard and / or smooth floors, textile floor coverings with a loose and / or long pile, and coverings with a fixed and / or short pile, for optimal cleaning.
  • a bristle strip with respect to the working direction of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece is arranged behind one of the suction channels running parallel to the latter, and a further bristle strip oriented perpendicular to the one bristle strip in the area of the triangular tip of the lower part of the mouthpiece opposite the suction channel in question is provided.
  • a relatively stable support of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece is achieved by means of the bristle strips when vacuuming on smooth and hard floors.
