Definitions
- the invention relates to a floor nozzle for a vacuum cleaner, according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a floor nozzle for a vacuum cleaner in which a housing is pivotally connected to a transverse end to the working direction of the floor nozzle horizontal tilting axis of a two-axis rotary / tilting joint with a connection end for a suction tube, wherein at the turn / tilt hinge a chassis is arranged with two lateral rollers for supporting the floor nozzle (Wolf GmbH & Co. KG, type "Perfect 280").
- a bottom plate is tiltably mounted with a wedge-shaped tapering to the lateral edges suction port.
- the Saugmundkanten are each covered with sections of Schrägborstenvelours, wherein air passage openings are arranged between the sections.
- the floor nozzle is suitable as a universal nozzle for carpets and smooth floors. As with known floor nozzles with bristle strips allow the air passage openings a dirt pickup on smooth floors. Furthermore, the floor nozzle is suitable for the reception of animal hair.
- a common, universal floor nozzle for a vacuum cleaner is from the document DE 43 04 681 C2 known.
- the floor nozzle has a housing channel which is pivotally connected to a connection end for a suction pipe about a horizontal tilting axis of a two-axis rotary / tilting joint lying transversely to the working direction of the floor nozzle.
- On the housing channel is rigidly connected to a bottom plate with a suction mouth and with sealing lips in front and behind the suction mouth.
- the Saugmundkanten that limit the suction mouth are designed as wedge-shaped stall edges, wherein before and behind a central Saugmundö réelle at a distance to the Saugmundkanten thread lifter strips are arranged from a Schrägborstenvelours for receiving fibers and animal hair.
- the individual bristles of the diagonal bristle suede point in the usual way in the direction of the suction mouth, so that, for example, taken in a forward stroke fibers and animal hair from the obliquely forward bristles of the rear thread lifting strip and stripped and sucked off in a backward stroke.
- To pick up individual fibers or pet hair they must be run over by a user with the floor nozzle in the middle.
- the floor nozzle described should be suitable for a minimum of manufacturing and assembly costs as a universal nozzle for various floor coverings.
- the invention has for its object to provide a floor nozzle for vacuum cleaners, which has a very good fiber-absorbing capacity and is easy to handle.
- a floor nozzle according to claim 1 Even with a typical working width of about 300 mm results from the small length of the suction head a particularly compact design of the floor nozzle, which can be easily handled and stowed as a special accessory for the special recording of fibers. Since usually the Cleaning done with the floor nozzle at least mainly in the forward stroke, is expediently at least the rear suction mouth edge occupied by Schrägborstenvelours, preferably both the rear suction mouth edge and the front suction mouth edge are covered with Schrägborstenvelours.
- the floor nozzle should not have a universally balanced suction, but in terms of fiber absorption, especially in the cleaning of carpets optimized. Due to the rigid connection of the suction head to the housing channel, a defined orientation of the suction mouth edges can always be achieved.
- the floor nozzle can be designed such that with a slight sinking of the rollers in a carpet, the Saugmundkanten are optimally aligned with regard to an effective fiber intake.
- the Schrägborstenvelours extends over a substantial part of the length of the suction mouth edge of typically 80%.
- the Schrägborstenvelours is provided over the entire length of at least one of Saugmundkanten.
- the suction mouth edge is covered without interruption with a continuous strip of Schrägborstenvelours, so that along the strip even with a single run over the soil to be cleaned a complete or almost complete fiber intake can be achieved.
- the suction mouth is formed by a single suction channel whose Suction mouth edges run straight across the width of the floor nozzle.
- the straight course of the Saugmundkanten allows a particularly simple arrangement of Schrägborstenvelours, which can be carried out interchangeable in the invention without limitation, for example by a snap connection to the suction head.
- both Saugmundkanten are occupied by Schrägborstenvelours, wherein the Schrägborstenvelours extending at the front Saugmundkante to the front edge of the suction head and at the rear Saugmundkante to the rear edge of the suction head.
- the Saugmundkanten in the context of the invention, typically no functional elements extending along the width of the floor nozzle, such as sealing lips or bristle strips, are provided. While in a conventional, universally applicable floor nozzle the Saugmundkanten are designed to improve the flow of air wedge-shaped as flow separation edges, it is preferably provided in the invention to optimize the shape of the Saugmundkanten in terms of fiber absorption by the Schrägborstenvelours.
- the Saugmundkante covered with Schrägborstenvelours curved in cross-section downwards, particularly preferably curved semicircular.
- additional rollers can at the lateral edges of the suction head be provided, which preferably project between 0.5 and 1, 5 mm with respect to the occupied with Schrägborstenvelours suction mouth.
- the suction mouth edges are slightly raised, the floor nozzle rolls on the at least one roller of the chassis and the additional roles and can be very easily performed.
- the chassis at the turn / tilt joint at the rear of the floor nozzle serves to support the floor nozzle, whereby it can be easily moved. It is particularly advantageous if the chassis has two lateral rollers, wherein the axis of rotation of the rollers coincides with the tilting axis of the rotary / tilting joint. In such an embodiment, it is ensured that regardless of the position of the intake manifold, the sliding forces are completely absorbed by the chassis.
- Fig. 1 shows a floor nozzle according to the invention 1 for a vacuum cleaner with a housing channel 2, which is connected to a transverse to the direction of the floor nozzle 1 horizontal tilt axis A of a two-axis rotary / tilting joint 3 pivotally connected to a connection end 4 for a suction tube.
- the formed as an angled pipe connection end 4 is rotatable about a perpendicular to the tilt axis A extending axis of rotation B relative to a rear joint piece 5 of the rotary / tilting joint 3.
- a chassis 6 is arranged with two lateral rollers 7, wherein the axis of rotation of the rollers 7 coincides with the tilting axis A of the rotary / tilting joint 3.
- To the housing channel 2 is rigidly connected to a suction head 8, wherein the housing channel 2 and the suction head 8 are integrally formed together.
- Fig. 2 shows the floor nozzle 1 in a view from below.
- the suction head 8 has on an underside a suction mouth 9 with a front suction mouth edge 10a and a rear suction mouth edge 10b, each completely without interruption with a continuous strip. Schrägborstenvelours 11 are occupied.
- the suction mouth 9 is formed by a single suction channel, which occupied with the Schrägborstenvelours 11 Saugmundkanten 10a, 10b straight, with the Schrägborstenvelours 11 at the front Saugmundkante 10a to the front edge of the suction head 8 and at the rear suction mouth edge 10b to the rear edge of the suction head 8 extends.
- the suction head 8 has a substantially rectangular base.
- the ratio of the transverse width y of the suction head 8 to its measured length x in the working direction is greater than 5.
- the ratio of Width y and length x of the suction head about 6.
- the suction head 8 has at its lateral edges auxiliary rollers 12 which are arranged in a region between the ends of the rear suction mouth edge 10b and the lateral boundary of the suction head 8.
- the Schrägborstenvelours 11 at the front Saugmundkante 10a and the rear Saugmundkante 10b may be interchangeable in the context of the invention, for example by a locking connection, not shown, so that a worn or damaged strip of Schrägborstenvelours 11 can be replaced.
- Fig. 3 showing a longitudinal section through the floor nozzle 1 according to the invention, it can be seen that the covered with Schrägborstenvelours 11 Saugmundkanten 10a, 10b are curved in the cross-section towards the bottom half-round. Even with a slight tilting of the housing channel 2 with the suction head 8 rigidly connected thereto, sufficient contact of the inclined-bristle suede 11 with a floor to be cleaned and reliable fiber absorption can thus be ensured.
- the additional rollers 12 arranged on both sides of the rear suction mouth edge 10b protrude slightly at the underside of the suction head 8, typically between 0.5 and 1.5 mm, with respect to the suction mouth edges 10a, 10b occupied by oblique-angle suede 11.
- the floor nozzle 1 is supported on a smooth floor on the rollers 7 of the chassis 6 and the additional rollers 12, wherein between the Saugmundkanten 10 a, 10 b and the smooth bottom remains a gap that allows driving over loose dirt particles and a reliable recording of dirt particles.
- the only slightly protruding additional rollers 12 sink due to the suction air flow in the flooring, in which case fibers and animal hair are optimally absorbed by the arranged on the Saugmundkanten 10a, 10b Schrägborstenvelours.
