Therefore, also in this case, only the last cheque will overcome the bent portion 134.

Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à un appareil (21) pour la lecture de chèques ou de documents (22), qui comporte un dispositif d'acquisition magnétique et/ou optique conçu pour l'acquisition d'informations présentes sur une surface de référence (28) de chèques ou de documents (22). Un chèque ou un document (22) entrant dans ledit appareil est amené à suivre un chemin interne (44) comportant une partie de retournement (46) en forme de boucle. Le dispositif d'acquisition (26) est disposé face à une section de passage (47) du chemin adjacent à une entrée et une sortie de la partie de retournement (46). Un mécanisme de déplacement (27) fait avancer le chèque ou le document (22) à partir d'une position d'entrée (23) vers la section de passage (47) en vue de l'acquisition des informations situées sur la surface de référence (28) puis à nouveau vers la section de passage après la section de retournement jusqu'à une position de sortie (24) en vue de l'acquisition d'informations situées sur une surface (43) du chèque ou du document, opposée à la surface de référence (28).
