Abstract

Un magnétoscope comprend une entrée (14) destinée à recevoir un signal de télévision numérique qui est envoyé par l'intermédiaire d'un circuit d'interface (15) à un circuit à mémoire tampon RAM et de correction d'erreur (16). Un circuit de commande et de synchronisation (13) envoie ce signal de la mémoire RAM tampon (16) à un codeur de bande (17) qui convertit les n binaires de code un par un dans un code de niveau 2', ce qui réduit ainsi le débit de données de I/n. Ainsi, le débit de données est réduit de sorte qu'il puisse être enregistré par un magnétoscope VHS. Lors de la relecture, l'opération inverse s'effectue au moyen du décodeur de bande (19), du circuit à mémoire tampon RAM et de correction d'erreur (16) et d'une interface de sortie (20), de sorte qu'un signal de télévision numérique relu soit produit à une sortie (21). Dans un autre mode de réalisation, un codeur/décodeur vidéo numérique permet l'enregistrement sous forme numérique de signaux de télévision analogiques.
