Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Darstellung der bei einem Mobilfunkgerät (MF) zur Anzeige gelangenden alphanumerischen Zeichen und/oder visuellen Signalisierungszeichen und/oder Steuerzeichen. Erfindungsgemäss werden diese Zeichen zu einer Armbanduhr (AU) übertragen und dort auf einer Anzeigeeinrichtung (AE2) dargestellt.
Description
Mobilfunkgerät
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 und ein Mobilfunkgerät gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 4.
Zwischen den Teilnehmern eines zellularen Funknetzes bzw. Mo- bilfunksystems können digitale Daten ausgetauscht werden. Das Mobilfunksystem kann gemäß dem GSM-Standard (Funkübertragungssystem gemäß den Empfehlungen des CEPT-Unterausschusses Group Special Mobile oder Global System for Mobile Communica- tion, GSM) oder gemäß dem DECT-Standard (Digital European Cordless Telecommunication, DECT) ausgebildet sein.
Die ausgetauschten digitalen Daten können digitalisierte Sprachsignale, Daten zur Fax-Kommunikation oder ganz allgemein Daten für stationäre oder mobile Datenverarbeitungssysteme, wie Personal Computer oder Notebooks, sein. Zusätzlich können über das Mobilfunksystem aus alphanumerischen Zeichen bestehende Kurznachrichten an die Mobilfunkgeräte übertragen werden, die auf deren Displays dargestellt werden.
Die Mobilfunkgeräte werden immer kleiner, so daß sie inzwi- sehen in Hosen- oder Jackentaschen getragen werden können. Zur Überprüfung auf und zum Lesen der Kurznachricht muß das Mobilfunkgerät aus der Tasche genommen werden.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, die Handhabung des Mobilfunkgerätes zu vereinfachen.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß für ein Verfahren durch die im Patentanspruch 1 und für ein Mobilfunkgerät durch die im Patentanspruch 4 angegebenen Merkmale gelöst .
Durch die Darstellung der Zeichen auf dem Display einer Armbanduhr können die Meldungen leicht abgelesen werden.
Weiter ist auch der Wählvorgang in der Handhabung vereinfacht, da beispielsweise bis zum Verbindungsaufbau das Mobil- funkgerät nicht aus der Tasche genommen werden muß.
Im folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels beschrieben.
In der einzigen FIG ist ein Mobilfunkgerät MF dargestellt, das über eine Antenne A mit einem nicht näher dargestellten Mobilfunksystem in Verbindung steht. Die Antenne A ist an einer Funkeinrichtung FE angeschaltet, die einen HF-Sender und einen -Empfänger aufweist. Die Funkeinrichtung FE ist mit einer Logikschaltung LS verbunden. Die Logikschaltung LS dient zur digitalen Signalverarbeitung der zwischen Mobilfunkgerät MF und Mobilfunksystem übertragenen Daten und zur Steuerung des Mobilfunkgerätes MF selbst.
Das Mobilfunkgerät MF weist eine Bedieneroberfläche BOl auf, die beispielsweise durch eine Tastatur und/oder einen Trackball realisiert sind. Weiter ist eine Anzeigeeinrichtung AE1, beispielsweise ein graphisches LC-Display, vorgesehen.
Eine Signalumformeinrichtung SU dient zur Bearbeitung der analogen Sprachsignale, die über einen Lautsprecher Ll ausgegeben werden beziehungsweise von einem Mikrophon MK1 aufgenommen werden. Die Signalumformeinrichtung SU weist hierzu A/D- bzw. D/A-Wandler bzw. Codec-Schaltungen auf.
Die Logikschaltung LS, die Bedienoberfläche BOl mit der Anzeigeeinrichtung AE1 und die Signalumformeinrichtung SU, sowie eine Datenschnittstelle DS1 sind untereinander über einen Datenbus DB1 verbunden.
Zur Energieversorgung weist das Mobilfunkgerät MF eine Stromversorgung SV auf .
Erfindungsgemäß werden die bei einem Mobilfunkgerät MF zur Anzeige gelangenden alphanumerischen Zeichen und/oder visuellen Signalisierungszeichen und/oder Steuerzeichen auf einer externen Anzeigeeinrichtung AE2 dargestellt. Diese Anzeige- einrichtung AE2 ist in eine Armbanduhr UA integriert beziehungsweise ist das schon vorhandene Anzeigedisplay der Uhr UA.
Die alphanumerischen Zeichen stellen vorzugsweise die Kurz- nachricht dar. Das visuelle Signalisierungszeichen ist beispielsweise ein auf der Anzeigeeinrichtung AE2 dargestelltes Symbol, durch das ein am Mobilfunkgerät MF ankommender Ruf signalisiert wird. Durch ein anderes Symbol wird ein eingeleiteter Verbindungsaufbau oder die Annahme eines Gespräches beim gerufenen Teilnehmer signalisiert. Steuerzeichen dienen beispielsweise zur Darstellung einer Batterie- oder Feldstärke-Anzeige .
Zur Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens werden die zu diesen Zeichen gehörenden Daten über den Datenbus DBl an die Datenschnittstelle DS1 und weiter an eine Sendeeinrichtung SEI gegeben. Die Sendeeinrichtung SEI ist vorzugsweise drahtlos ausgebildet, und überträgt diese Daten zu Armbanduhr UA. Über die Sendeeinrichtung SEI ist das Mobilfunkgerätes MF mit einem externen Anzeigedisplay verbunden. Die Sendeeinrichtung SEI arbeitet beispielsweise im HF-Bereich oder auch im Ultraschallbereich. Sie kann auch durch eine induktive Kopplung realisiert sein.
Die Armbanduhr UA weist zur Durchführung des erfindungsgemäßen Verfahrens eine Anzeigeeinrichtung AE2 und eine Empfangseinrichtung EE2 auf . Die von der Uhr UA empfangenen Daten werden von der Empfangseinrichtung EE2 an die Anzeigeeinrichtung AE2 gegeben und dort dargestellt. Die benötigte Steuer- einrichtung ist für die Erfindung von untergeordneter Bedeutung und in der Figur nicht explizit dargestellt. Diese Funk-
tion kann beispielsweise durch eine in der Uhr schon vorhan¬ dene Steuerung übernommen werden.
Die Empfangseinrichtung EE2 ist an einer Datenschnittstelle DS2 angeschaltet, die über einen Datenbus DB2 mit der Anzeigeeinrichtung AE2 verbunden ist. An dem Datenbus DB2 ist bedarfsweise eine Bedienoberfläche B02 sowie an der Datenschnittstelle DS2 eine Sendeeinrichtung SE2 angeschlossen. Auf diese Schaltungsteile wird später eingegangen.
Zusätzlich kann in der Uhr UA ein Lautsprecher Ll oder ein Piepser vorgesehen sein, über den das vom Mobilfunkgerät MF empfangene Signalisierungszeichen, beispielsweise ein Klingelsignal, ausgegeben wird. Der Lautsprecher Ll ist, bei- spielsweise über einen Digitalanalogwandler, mit der Empfangseinrichtung EE2 verbunden (in der Figur nicht dargestellt) . Die Daten für das Signalisierungszeichen werden im Mobilfunkgerät MF von der Logikschaltung LS über die Datenschnittstelle DS und die Sendeeinrichtung SEI an die Uhr UA gegeben.
Bei einer Weiterbildung der Erfindung ist in der Uhr UA eine Bedienoberfläche B02 vorgesehen. Über sie kann beispielsweise der Verbindungsaufbau eingeleitet werden. Die Eingabe der Rufnummern kann sprachgesteuert über ein Mikrofon MK2 erfolgen. Die Bedienoberfläche B02 und das Mikrofon MK2 mit einer nachgeschalteten Signalumformeinrichtung (in der Figur nicht dargestellt) sind mit einer Sendeeinrichtung SE2 verbunden. Die Sendeeinrichtung SE2 steht, wiederum vorzugsweise draht- los, mit einer im Mobilfunkgerät MF vorgesehenen Empfangseinrichtung EE1 in Verbindung. Die Empfangseinrichtung EE1 ist an der Datenschnittstelle DS angeschaltet und gibt die zu den eingegebenen Signalen und Nummern gehörenden Daten an die Logikschaltung LS .
Vor der Datenübertragung zwischen Mobilfunkgerät MF und Armbanduhr UA wird sinnvollerweise eine Authentifizierung durch-
geführt. Hierdurch wird sichergestellt, daß die Daten nur zu der zugehörigen Uhr UA beziehungsweise umgekehrt nur zum richtigen Mobilfunkgerät MF, übertragen werden. So kann keine Störung bei den Geräten, Armbanduhr UA und Mobilfunkgerät MF, beispielsweise dicht beieinander stehender Benutzer auftreten.
Claims
1. Verfahren zur Darstellung der bei einem Mobilfunkgerät (MF) zur Anzeige gelangenden alphanumerischen Zeichen und/oder visuellen Signalisierungszeichen und/oder Steuerzeichen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß diese Zeichen zu einer Armbanduhr (AU) übertragen und dort auf einer Anzeigeeinrichtung (AE2) dargestellt werden.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß akustische Signalisierungszeichen vom Mobilfunkgerät (MF) zur Armbanduhr (AU) übertragen und dort ausgegeben werden.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß an der Armbanduhr (AU) eingegebene Steuer- und/oder Wähl- informationen zum Mobilfunkgerät (MF) übertragen werden.
4. Mobilfunkgerät (MF) zum Austausch digitaler Daten über Funk mit einer zentralen Basisstation eines zellularen Funk- systems und/oder über diese mit weiteren, an das Funksystem angeschlossenen Teilnehmern, mit einer Logikschaltung (LS) zur digitalen Signalverarbeitung und Steuerung der Datenkommunikation des Funksystems mit dem Mobilfunkgerät (MF) , und gekennzeichnet durch eine mit der Logikschaltung (LS) in Verbindung stehenden Sendeeinrichtung (SEI) zur drahtlosen Anbindung einer externen Anzeigeeinrichtung (AE2) , die in einer Armbanduhr (AU) integriert ist .
5. Mobilfunkgerät (MF) nach Anspruch 4, gekennzeichnet durch eine mit der Logikschaltung (LS) in Verbindung stehenden Empfangseinrichtung (EEl) zur drahtlosen Anbindung einer externen Bedienoberfläche (B02) , die in einer Armbanduhr (AU) integriert ist
