Description

Dachaufbau für die Ladefläche eines Transportfahrzeuges Roof structure for the loading area of a transport vehicle
B e s c h r e i b u n gDescription
The invention relates to a roof structure for the loading area of a transport vehicle.
Such roof structures are generally known. They connect directly to the rear of the cab. Such roof structures create an essentially closed loading space or additional passenger compartment.
The present invention has for its object to provide a roof structure for the loading area of a transport vehicle, which allows more variation options compared to the prior art.
This object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
Accordingly, the roof structure according to the invention is divided into two, namely in a panel that can be connected directly to the rear of a driver's cab, in continuation of the roof and side walls of the driver's cab, and a pick-up attachment that can be connected to it, forming the essentially closed loading or Passenger compartment. This divided embodiment has the advantage that after removal of the pick-up attachment, the transport vehicle still looks elegant due to the optical extension of the passenger compartment thanks to the panel according to the invention. This visual positive impression is additionally reinforced by the measures according to claim 5. after which the height of the lateral limitation of the panel decreases continuously or step-wise in the continuation of the side walls of the cab in the direction from the front to the rear. This also gives the transport part of the vehicle an attractive external appearance. Furthermore, the panel technically has the advantage that a rear window in the cab is less dirty. In particular, the rear window remains almost dry when it rains. The aperture according to the invention thus increases driving safety.
Structural details, in particular with regard to the sealing of the panel and the pick-up attachment with respect to the side walls of the loading area, the rear of the driver's cab and with regard to the mutual sealing, are described in the subclaims.
In diesem Fall besitzt die Blende eine Mehrfachfunktion .The diaphragm is preferably so rigid that it serves as a roll bar. In this case, the aperture has a multiple function.
Es zeigen:An embodiment of a roof structure designed according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Show it:

Die Rückseite 16 des Fahrerhauses 11 umfaßt ein Rückfenster 12.The basic vehicle shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 is identified by reference number 10. It comprises a driver's cabin with a passenger compartment 11 and a loading area 13 arranged behind it with tail lifts 14, 15, it being possible for the rear tail lift 15 to be folded down conventionally downwards. The rear 16 of the cab 11 includes a rear window 12.
According to FIG. 3, a roof structure 17 is arranged above the loading area, which is composed of a panel 13 that can be connected directly to the rear side 16 of the cab 11 in continuation of the roof 19 and side walls 20 of the cab 11, and a pick-up attachment that can be connected to it or hardtop 21. Panel 18 and hardtop 21 delimit a cargo or passenger compartment that is closed on all sides. The hardtop 21 preferably has side and rear windows, as can be seen very well in FIG. 3. The panel 18 and the hardtop 21 rest on the upper edges 22 of the side walls 14, 15 of the loading area, with the interposition of rubber-elastic sealing strips 23 (see FIG. 4). As can further be seen from FIG. 4, the panel 18 and the hardtop 21 can also be joined together with the interposition of a rubber-elastic sealing strip 24.
Accordingly, only the panel 18 remains, which gives the vehicle an elegant appearance. Furthermore, the panel 18 protects the rear window 12 from dirt and rain. This can also significantly reduce wind noise. If necessary, the cover 18 can also be removed in order to obtain a vehicle according to FIG. 1.
The panel 18 and the hardtop 21 can be fastened to the lateral side walls 14 of the loading area by means of respectively assigned clamping devices, namely clamping brackets 25. 5, the clamping brackets 25 are approximately C-shaped, the lower edge of the panel 18 or the hardtop 21 on the one hand and the upper edge 22 of the lateral side walls 14 being able to be placed between the facing end faces of the two legs of the clamping bracket. The two clamping legs of the clamping bracket 25 are identified in FIG. 5 by the reference numbers 26 and 27. The two clamping legs are connected to one another in the region of their connecting web 28 by a screw spindle 29, so that the legs 26, 27 can be moved towards one another by actuating the screw spindle 29 while clamping the lower edge of the panel 18 or the hardtop 21 on the one hand and the upper edge 22 of the side tail lifts 14 on the other hand, with the interposition of a rubber-elastic sealing strip 23. A separate clamping between the hard top 21 and the panel 18 is unnecessary. The sealing between these two parts takes place by clamping the hardtop 21 directly on the side tail lifts 14.
Clamping of panel 18 and hardtop 21 takes place on the inside of the side side walls 14.
Eine Festklemmung an der hinteren Ladebordwand 15 ist bei der dargestellten Ausführungsform nicht vorgesehen, da dieseA clamping on the rear tail lift 15 is not provided in the illustrated embodiment, since this
The tail lift should be foldable so that it has access to the loading area. In order to facilitate this access, the rear of the hardtop 21 can also be opened upwards. In this regard, there are known design measures that do not require a detailed description at this point.
The contact surfaces for the clamping bracket 25 or its legs 26, 27 on the lower boundary of the panel 18 on the one hand and the upper edge 22 of the side side walls 14 on the other hand are identified in FIG. 4 by the reference numbers 30, 31.
As can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, the height of the lateral limitation of the diaphragm 18 increases in the direction from the front gradually backwards. The aperture 18 is thus extended to the rear by a relatively narrow strip. On the one hand, this improves the visual appearance of the vehicle. On the other hand, an elevated tail lift will also be held in the part of the loading area immediately adjacent to the driver's cab.
With a correspondingly rigid design of the panel 18, this can serve as a roll bar.
It goes without saying that a rubber-elastic sealing strip is also arranged between the rear of the driver's cab 11 and the edges of the panel 18 resting thereon. The panel 18 is to be fixed to the side tail lifts 14 in such a way that no additional fixing to the rear of the cab 11 is required.
All features disclosed in the application documents are claimed as essential to the invention, insofar as they are new compared to the prior art, individually or in combination.
