An dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Cabriolet 1 ist ein erfindungsgemäßes Hardtop 2 an einer vorgegebenen Befestigungsposition angebracht. Das Hardtop 2 weist ein kurzes Dachteil 3 auf, so daß ein offener Bereich zwischen dem Dachteil 3 des Hardtops 2 und einem oberen Rahmen 4 einer Frontscheibe 5 verbleibt. Das Hardtop 2 ist ausreichend stabil ausgebildet und am Fahrzeug befestigt, so daß es ohne eine Abstützung an dem Rahmen 4 der Frontscheibe 5 oder an einer rahmenlosen Frontscheibe verwendbar ist. Das Hardtop 2 umfaßt unterschiedliche auswechselbare Einsatzelemente 6, 7, 3, die in den offenen Bereich zwischen dem Hardtop 2 und der Frontscheibe 5 einsetzbar sind. In Fig. 1 ist neben dem Cabriolet beispielhaft ein Paar fester Deckel 6, ein Paar Glasdeckel 7 sowie ein einzelner Kofferaufsatz 8 dargestellt. Die Einsatzelemente 6, 7, 8 werden an der Frontscheibe 5 bzw. ihrem Rahmen 4 und an dem Hardtop 2 mit Befestigungseinrichtungen fest angebracht. Sie können einzeln, paarweise oder in beliebigen Kombinationen angebracht werden.
