Abstract
L'invention porte sur un système d'irradiation d'articles comprenant une source de rayonnement (10) balayant une zone cible (23); un premier système de convoyage (12) transportant les articles d'une aire de chargement (22) à une aire de déchargement (24) en passant par la zone cible, et un matériau de blindage anti-rayonnement délimitant un tunnel entourant de près les parties du système de convoyage reliant la zone cible aux aires de chargement et de déchargement pour les protéger de la source de rayonnement. Le premier système de convoyage (12) suit une trajectoire comportant des courbes entre la zone cible et les aires de chargement et de déchargement de manière à ce que le matériau de blindage empêche une communication visuelle directe entre elles. Un deuxième système de convoyage, relié au premier, assurant le transport d'articles entre une première position du premier système de convoyage et une deuxième située avant la zone cible, réoriente les articles transportés par le premier système de convoyage dans une direction à 180°. L'invention porte également sur un système de blindage anti-rayonnement (13) comportant un blindage délimitant un couloir que balaye un faisceau d'électrons.
