Definitions
- the invention relates to a protective grille or a protective curtain for shielding rooms with areas that can be covered.
- DE-OS 37 08 640 describes an elastic fly screen for attachment from the interior, on the inside of a window frame with a flat adhesive tape, Velcro strips or by clamping under a seal.
- DE-OS 28 00 698 describes a similar protective grille, but with a different type of fastening.
- the protective grille is clamped in a fixed frame element, which in turn is mounted in front of a window.
- Utility model 93 04 429 describes not only a protective grille, but also an additional dust filter that is simply installed in front of the protective grille.
- This proposed protective grille has the disadvantage that not only the protective grille but also the nonwoven material forms a resistance to the air flowing through.
- the nonwoven material is also said to retain all types of dust, soot and plant pollen. So it must have a high density.
- a high-density material is particularly unsuitable as a protective grille because it does not allow air to circulate, especially not on warm days when the temperature inside and outside is almost the same and therefore there is almost no flow between indoor and outdoor air.
- dust Soot and pollen filters only work if they are forced to be flooded with air by an electrically driven fan.
- the invention has for its object to provide a protective grille or a protective curtain of the type mentioned, by means of which protection against insects and / or light rays as well as against ozone is brought about in comparison to the prior art, without increasing the flow resistance .
- the new protective grille proposed to achieve the above object is characterized in that it has, at least on the surface, a material which promotes ozone depletion and has catalyst properties.
- the advantage of a protective screen against insects is used and at the same time, ozone is broken down into atmospheric oxygen by the catalytic effect.
- the pore size of the protective grille is usually chosen to be so small that no insects can enter a room from the outside, but on the other hand so far that the room is well ventilated.
- the proposal according to the invention is not only suitable for reducing the ozone concentration in a room, but also has the same effect in other rooms or areas which can be covered, for example strollers or beds. With a stroller, the free opening and with a bed, the space open at the top must be covered with a curtain (mosquito net). Mouth or face protection is also conceivable, for example integrated in a motorcycle helmet. It is possible to manufacture the protective grille from a material with catalyst properties. It is more economical if the protective grille consists of a carrier material and is coated with a material with catalyst properties.
- the carrier material can be a plastic, in particular polyester, PU foam, PES fleece or other plastic in a lattice form and can preferably be coated with activated carbon.
- other catalyst materials are also conceivable, for example coatings with Paladiu and platinum on a support material such as aluminum.
- the invention is particularly effective in summer when high ozone levels are present in the outside air.
- 300 ⁇ g per m 3 of air can trigger headaches, inflammatory reactions in the eyes, nose and throat, asthma and a decrease in physical capacity in humans.
- the natural ozone content of ground-level air is around 60 ⁇ g.
- the German precautionary value for health protection provides for a maximum load of 120 ⁇ g.
- the new protective grille is, apart from the insect protection, designed so that an air exchange between outside air and inside air is guaranteed or is not hindered and ozone breaks down into atmospheric oxygen on its grating surface. As a result, not all ozone is broken down, but a higher external ozone value is reduced to a health-friendly internal value.
- a protective grille can also be rolled up by motor or by hand and can be guided, for example, in lateral guide rails. If the insect screen is not used, blinds, blinds and curtains can also be used and curtains at least superficially have a material with catalyst properties.

Abstract
Description
Schutzgitter
