Abstract

L'invention concerne un culbuteur ou basculeur (1) pour mécanisme de distribution d'un moteur à combustion interne, qui présente à une extrémité, un évidement (2) sous forme de calotte lui permetttant d'être monté de manière à se déplacer par pivotement à l'encontre d'une extrémité (4) sphérique d'un élément d'appui (3), son autre extrémité coopérant avec une soupape d'échange de gaz (5). Selon l'invention, l'extrémité sphérique (4) de l'élément d'appui (3) et/ou l'évidement (2) sous forme de calotte du culbuteur ou basculeur (1) comporte(nt) une surface de contact contenant plus de 10 % de carbure. Ce système permet d'obtenir une résistance à l'usure particulière du mécanisme de distribution.
