Abstract

Cet appareil de refroidissement d'air ambiant comprend un conduit d'air primaire (11), s'étendant horizontalement et présentant des parois latérales longues et essentiellement verticales (15), au moins un refroidisseur tubulaire (12) destiné à l'air ambiant, une chambre de mélange (13) d'air primaire et d'air ambiant, ainsi que des ouvertures (17, 23) destinées à l'écoulement de l'air entrant dans la pièce et sortant de celle-ci. Cet appareil est caractérisé en ce que l'on a ménagé un espace à l'extérieur des refroidisseurs tubulaires (12 et le long de l'une ou des deux parois latérales verticales (15) du conduit d'air primaire (11), formant ainsi une chambre étroite et longue (13) constituant la chambre de mélange, laquelle est délimitée sur le haut par une cloison supérieure (14) située au-dessus d'une partie saillante du conduit (11), sur un côté par la paroi latérale verticale (15) de conduit (11) et sur l'autre côté par le refroidisseur tubulaire (12), et sur le bas est en communication directe avec lesdites ouvertures (17, 23), lesquelles communiquent à leur tour avec la pièce. Chaque refroidisseur tubulaire (12) présente des ouvertures (22, 16) respectivement conçues pour que le flux d'air entrant à partir de la pièce soit essentiellement horizontal, et que le flux d'air sortant, refroidi dans le refroidisseur tubulaire (12), soit dirigé vers la chambre de mélange (13). Des ouvertures (19) destinées à l'air primaire sont ménagées dans la cloison supérieure (14) entre la portion du conduit d'air primaire (11) saillant au-dessus de la chambre de mélange (13) et la chambre de mélange (13), de façon à permettre qu'une entrée de flux d'air primaire, dirigé vers la chambre de mélange (13), soit parallèle au côté de cette chambre (13) situé en face du refroidisseur tubulaire (12) et soit également, par voie de conséquence, sensiblement perpendiculaire au flux d'air ambiant refroidi s'écoulant hors du refroidisseur tubulaire (12) pour se diriger dans la chambre de mélange (13).
