Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for dosing a paste-like, thixotropic detergent into an especially commercial washing machine by means of a dosing device.
  • Paste-like, essentially water-free detergents are mainly used in commercial laundries. Examples of such pastes are described in DE 38 26 110 AI and in DE 37 19 906 AI.
  • the advantages lie in the high washing power as a result of the high concentration of washing-active components compared to powder-form washing agents, since washing-inactive additives which only serve to condition the washing agent are not necessary here.
  • a barrel is provided as a storage container for the pasty detergent in this prior art.
  • a plate that is movable in the barrel and closes close to the barrel walls which is also called a follow-up plate, lies on the paste and enables conveyance via a simple pipeline with a suction pump (DE 37 19906 AI and DE 38 26 110 AI).

  • a stirrer below the follower plate is proposed in G 93 14 591, which liquefies the paste located immediately below the follower plate and thus makes it easy to convey.
  • the follower plate according to the prior art does not exert any pressure on the paste.

  • the use of such an expensive pump is only economical with relatively large containers.
  • a device for the almost complete emptying of flexible disposable containers filled with fluids is known from DE 42 18 297 A1.

  • this removal method is not suitable for bags filled with thixotropic paste, since the pressure acting on the entire top of the container is generally not sufficient to completely and sufficiently liquefy the paste.
  • the known method for emptying the flat bags is also not suitable for exact dosing, since the movement of the plates is in a non-linear and complicated connection with the volume pressed out.
  • the present invention has in particular set itself the goal of enabling the use of pasty detergents in the OPL area ("on premise laundry") in an economical manner.
  • Containers of 5 to 10 1 corresponding to 7.5 to 15 kg of detergent are typically used here.
  • the known metering methods for pasty detergents have so far only been designed for larger containers, are correspondingly expensive and are not suitable for use in the OPL area. Powder detergents with the disadvantages described above are therefore used in the OPL area.

To introduce this detergent into the washing machine, water is sprayed onto this block at a temperature of about 50 to 60 ° C. and part of the detergent is dissolved. The temperature mentioned is required in order to release a sufficient amount of detergent from the detergent block in a reasonable time. Disadvantage g in this process is the need to keep hot water ready. If the washing liquor is heated up in the washing machine, this leads to the need for an additional device for hot water preparation.
  • the invention also aims to achieve the following objectives. Refilling the paste into a dosing container should not be necessary. The paste should be taken directly from the sales container or a part of the sales container, exactly dosed and at the same time washed into the washing machine. • the invention seeks to create a particularly cost-effective way of using paste-like detergents.
