Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication de racleurs d'huile pour pistons de moteurs à combustion interne, consistant d'abord à produire le racleur à partir de fonte de moulage. Le matériau du racleur (13) est ensuite refondu sur sa face externe (14) destinée à servir de surface de glissement, la refusion s'effectuant le long d'une paire de bandes (15,16) s'étendant autour du racleur (13) en vue d'augmenter la dureté du matériau dans les zones des bandes. On soumet ensuite le racleur à une opération d'usinage des deux côtés des bandes (15,16) sur un tour, de sorte que les bords du racleur (17,18) soient formés à partir desdites bandes. La refusion des bandes (15,16) s'effectue, de préférence, au moyen d'un faisceau laser.
