Definitions
- Containers for the care and / or storage of contact lenses are provided.
- the present invention / innovation relates to a container for the care and / or storage of at least one contact lens
- Containers for the care and / or storage of contact lenses are already known.
- a cylindrical container with a screw cap to which two downwardly projecting, hinged cups for holding contact lenses are attached, such that when the associated container is closed with this screw cap, the contact lenses inserted into the cups are inserted into the lens Immerse the filled solution.
- a container of the aforementioned type is known for example from DE-OS 3 038 800.
- a device for storing contact lenses which has a contact lens container which holds the contact lenses and can be used in this device, this device further comprising at least one Has liquid for treating the contact lens-receiving tank and finally at least one device for transporting the liquid from the tank into the contact lens container is provided.
- the known containers for storing contact lenses are largely very cumbersome to handle, i.e. inserting and removing the contact lenses is relatively complicated, and the consumption of care and / or storage solution associated with these known containers is relatively high.
- the containers with screw caps also have the disadvantage that such screw caps can fall out of the hand or even get lost during handling, for example.
- the present invention / innovation is therefore based on the object of specifying an improved container for the care and / or storage of contact lenses, with the aim of creating a container which is simple and safe to use, is easy to clean and in which none Parts can be lost and with the help of which the consumption of solvents can be reduced.
- this object is achieved according to the present invention / innovation in that in the bottom part of the container at least one trough for inserting or storing the contact lens or the contact lenses in the care and / or storage solution is formed.

- Two troughs 2 lying next to one another are formed in the base part 1, as is also shown in particular in FIGS. 2 and 4, these troughs 2 serving to insert and store the contact lenses in the container 11. It goes without saying that a corresponding care / storage solution for the contact lenses can be filled into the troughs 2 when the cover part 4 is open.
- a sealing element 3 is provided, which is preferably inserted on the top of the base part 1, surrounding the two troughs 2.
- This sealing element 3 can be integrated in the base part 1 or can also be used separately.

- the two adjacent troughs 2 can be connected to one another via a connecting channel 2 '.
- the bottom part 1 also has a snap lock 7, which is used for closing with the cover part 4.
- the embodiment of the container according to FIGS. 5, 6 and 7 differs from that of FIGS. 2, 3 and 4 only in that a lattice-shaped cover element 8 is also provided for covering the troughs 2, which element includes the bottom part 1 is connected via a hinge 9 in a pivotable manner.
- this lattice-shaped cover element 8 also has a closure element, for example a clamp closure 10, in order to be able to fasten the lattice-shaped cover element 8 to the base part 1.

- FIGS. 8 to 12 show a further embodiment of a container according to the present invention / innovation.
- This embodiment differs from that according to FIGS. 5 to 7 only in that the lattice-shaped cover element 8, which covers and closes the two troughs 2 in the base part 1, is designed in such a way that it is attached to its periphery is provided with a sealing edge 12 which ensures a seal between the bottom part 1 and the cover part 4, as shown in particular in FIGS. 9 and 11.
- the grid-shaped cover element 8 is provided in the area of the corresponding troughs 2 in the base part 1 with respective downwardly curved recesses 8 'and 8 ", such that the two contact lenses introduced into the troughs 2 each in the space between the curved surfaces of the Troughs 2 and the respectively assigned recesses 8 'and 8 "of the grid-shaped cover element 8 come to rest.
- FIGS. 8 to 12 The embodiment of a container 11 for the care and / or storage of contact lenses illustrated in FIGS. 8 to 12 is handled in such a way that after opening the cover part 4 and the grid-shaped cover element 8, the respective contact lenses, i.e. the left contact lens L and the right contact lens R (cf. FIG. 12) can simply be inserted into the associated depressions, the required solvent being able to be filled into these depressions before or after.
- the respective contact lenses i.e. the left contact lens L and the right contact lens R (cf. FIG. 12) can simply be inserted into the associated depressions, the required solvent being able to be filled into these depressions before or after.
- the grid-shaped cover element 8 which in turn is pivotally connected to the base part 1 via a hinge 9 (see FIG. 8), is then folded down and to the base part 1 with the aid of an associated closure element, for example similar to the clamp closure 10 attached to FIG. 7.
- an associated closure element for example similar to the clamp closure 10 attached to FIG. 7.
- the lid of this container 11 is formed in two parts, ie that it consists of two individual lid parts 4 'and 4 ", each of which is a single trough 2 of
- Container 11 are assigned such that these individual lid parts 4 'and 4 "can be opened or closed independently of one another with respect to the base part 1. Because of this embodiment, there is the possibility of one of the two troughs 2 in the container 11 Instead of separately opening and closing lid parts 4 'and 4 ", an embodiment is also conceivable in which these individual lid parts are formed as separate and independently operable sliding lid parts made from J gta.
- the cover element for example explained above with reference to FIG. 8, is now formed in two parts, i. H. that it consists of two individual grid-shaped cover element parts 8A and 8B.
- These individual grid-shaped cover element parts 8A and 8B can be provided, for example, in connection with a single cover 4, as shown in FIG. 14, or in connection with two individual cover parts 4 'and 4 "as shown in FIG. 13, in each case the individual ones Cover element parts 8A and 8B per individual trough 2 in the
- Bottom part 1 can be opened and closed independently of one another in a similar manner as already explained with reference to FIG. 8.
- the container according to the invention / innovation for the care and / or storage of contact lenses is characterized in particular by the following advantages:
- the container is more practical to use, in particular because the filling of the solvent into the troughs is easy and, above all, a balanced filling is made possible;
- the outer surface of the container can be at least partially provided with appealing designs or patterns (especially in a special color design), for example the container can be given a distinctly fashionable appearance, so that, above all, female consumer groups are affected by such a design. ratio will be happy to use, as it can easily be carried in handbags, for example.
