Definitions

  • the invention is based on a packaging box for in particular elongated objects, preferably cigarettes, consisting of an inner container with an upper removal opening for the objects and an outer container receiving the inner container and completely enveloping it in the closed state with an upper removal opening, whereby the inner container is arranged in a secure manner in the outer container.
  • the inner container of this box consists of a one-piece blank which, after being folded and glued, has an upper removal opening which, after the inner container has been filled, is closed with cigarettes, for which purpose special sealing tabs are provided which are folded in separately after filling. Since the inner container is made of weak material, an outer container made of relatively stiff material is provided, which serves as a protective container. This outer container essentially also consists of a one-piece blank, but made of stiffer material that is folded around the inner container and attached to the required such places is glued in such a way that an overall closed packaging box is formed.

If this packaging box with the cover opened and swung back kel lies on a table and the elongated side walls have been pressed together a little, the aforementioned main page unfolds along the fold lines above, so that the opening of the two containers forms an upwardly projecting area from which the cigarette can be removed somewhat more easily . It is therefore no longer necessary to carry out a number of activities on opening closure parts which, as before, had to be carried out before opening the box and after closing it. Furthermore, the packaging box remains completely open after it has been opened, ie the removal opening of the inner container is not covered by folding back the lid parts or the like.

  • Another advantage is that the packaging box despite its ratio to its remaining size, the small bottom wall stands securely on a flat shelf, because the bottom wall pushes inwards, so that it is supported essentially on the shelf with its two opposite edge edges. Unevenness in the bottom wall is thus eliminated, in particular an outwardly curved bottom wall can no longer form, which would otherwise cause the upright packaging box to tip over. Abstract
