Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de retenue (10) pour personne de petite taille, notamment pour enfant, sur un siège de voiture, utilisable en combinaison avec une ceinture de sécurité à fixation en trois points (11, 12) pour adulte, comprenant un élément plat, notamment bombé (16) fixé, pour servir de protection antichoc, entre la ceinture et l'utilisateur, et a pour but de permettre un ajustement optimum de la sangle, tout en assurant une protection optimale évitant toute blessure de l'utilisateur en cas d'accident. Ce but est atteint grâce au fait que les moyens de fixation de la ceinture (16A, 16B; 31, 32, 36A, 36B) sont montés sur la protection antichoc (16), de manière à agir dans le sens d'un raccourcissement de l'intervalle compris entre la partie centrale de la ceinture (11) et celle se trouvant au niveau de l'épaule (12), tout en maintenant le déplacement de la ceinture normalement déterminé par la fixation en trois points de la ceinture de sécurité dans le véhicule. Un prolongement (30) de l'élément (16) au-dessous des moyens de fixation (31, 32) pour la ceinture ventrale (11) pourvu d'au moins un creux médian en bordure (28) permet de réaliser une transmission de force sur le bassin de l'utilisateur et d'empêcher 'l'effet d'enfoncement' lors d'un freinage brusque du véhicule.
