本発明は産業用電子機器等の電源として使用されるスィ ッ チ ンダレギュ レータ の改良に関する。 背 景 技 術
産業用電子機器等の電源として、 直流電圧を高周波のパル スに変換し、 こ の高周波パルスを整流、 平滑して直流電圧に 変換して、 こ の出力電圧を帰還して、 こ の高周波パルス幅を 制御する こ とで、 出力電圧を制御するス イ ッ チ ングレギユ レ 一タが広く使用されている。
このようなスィ ツチングレギユレータの一例を第 2図に示 す。 図において、 入力電圧は V i である。 抵抗 R 1、 コ ンデ ンサ C 1 、 ダイ オー ド D 1 は ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のスナバ回路 を構成している。 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 と Q 2 は ト ラ ンス Tの卷 線 W 1、 W 2を帰還ループとする発振回路を構成し、 ト ラ ン ジスタ Q 1 のパルス幅によって、 出力電圧が決まる。
C 2 は ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 をター ンオ ンおよびター ンオ フす る ときのス ピー ドア ッ プコ ンデンサ、 D 2 は逆方向を阻止す るダイオー ドである。 抵抗 R 2 は発振開始時の ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のベース電流を供給する。 抵抗 R 3、 R 4 はス ピー ドァ ップコ ンデンサに直列に接続され、 反対側はコ イ ル W 2に接
続されている。 C 3 は ト ラ ンジスタ Q 2のベースに接繞され、 このコ ンデンサ C 3の充放電によって、 ト ランジスタ Q 2の オン、 オフが制御され、 同時に ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のオン、 ォ フが制御され、 出力電圧が制御される。 コ ンデンサ C 3は抵 抗 R 5、 ダイオード D 3のルートと、 抵抗 R 6、 ツエナーダ ィオード Z D、 ダイオード D 4のルー トおよび抵抗 R 4、 ダ ィオー ド D 6、 フ ォ ト力ブラ P C I の 3個のルー ト によって 充電され、 抵抗 R 6、 ツエナ一ダイオー ド Z D、 ダイオード D δ、 抵抗 R 7のルー トで放電される。
D 0 は出力側のダイオード、 C o は出力側の平滑コ ンデン サ、 抵抗 R 0 はダミ一抵抗であり、 出力端子に直流電圧 V 0 が出力される。
P C 1 はフォ トカプラであり、 ダイオー ド D 6を通して、 出力電圧を帰還して、 コ ンデンサ C 3への充電電流を制御す る。 S Rばシャ ン ト レギユ レ一夕であり、 基準電圧源を内蔵 した一種のォペア ンプである。 S Rの慟きによつて帰還ルー プのバラ ンスのとれた状態では、 出力電圧 V 0 はシャ ン ト レ ギュ レータ S Rの基準電圧を V s とすると、

となる。
こ こで、 出力 V 0が上昇したとすると、 抵抗 R 8 とフォ ト カプラ P C 1への電流が増加し、 フォ トカプラ P C 1 のコ レ クタ電流が増加し、 コ ンデンサ C 3への充電電流が増加し、 トラ ンジスタ GL 2のオンが早く なるため、 ト ラ ンジスタ G 1 のオン時間は減少し、 出力電圧を低下させるように動作する。
このようにして、 出力電圧が一定になるように制御されてい る。 抵抗 R 9 はフ ォ ト力ブラ P C 1 に電流を流''す必要のない 場合の、 シャ ン ト レギユ レータ S Rのもれ電流をバイ ノ、 ·スす るための抵抗であり、 コ ンデンサ C 4、 抵抗 R 1 0 は交流の ゲイ ンを安定にさせるための回路である。
しかし、 フ ォ ト力ブラ P C 1 の出力により、 ォン時間設定 用のコ ンデンサ C 3を充電し、 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 2 のオフ時間、 すなわち トラ ンジスタ Q 1 のオン時間を制御している力く、 コ ンデンサ C 3 の電圧は ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 がオフのとき、 必ず ある量だけ放電されているため、 放電された電荷の量に対応 した ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のオ ン時間が必ず存在する こ とになる。 さ らに、 ォン時のス ピ一 ドア ップ用コ ンデンサ C 2からの 電流は ト ラ ンジスタ Q 2では吸収しきれないため、 トラ ンジ ス夕 Q 1 のベースへ流入し、 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 をオ ンさせる こ ととなる。 このこ とも ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のオ ン時間を一定 以下にできない原因となる。
従って、 負荷を軽く し過ぎた時、 最小オ ン時間より も短い ォン時間に制御しょう としてもできずに、 軽負荷のときに出 力電圧が異常に高く なる。 この例を第 3図に示す。 第 3図に おいて、 横軸は出力電流 I 0、 縦軸は出力電圧 V 0である。 曲線 Lは出力特性を表す。 出力特性は軽負荷のときに、 電圧 が異常に上昇する。 これを避けるために、 第 2図の出力回路 ではダミ一抵抗 R 0を設けている。 この結果、 ダ ー抵抗の 電流消費による効率の低下、 及び発熱等の問題点が常に発生 する。
発 明 の 開 示
本発明の目的は上記問題点を解決し、 このような軽負荷時 でも出力電圧が上昇しないように改良したスィ ッチングレギ ユレータを提供することにある。
本発明では上記の問題点を解決するために、
出力電圧を 1次側の ト ラ ンジスタ等のスィ ッチング素子の ノ ルス ij^で制御するスィ ツチングレギュレ一タにおいて、
2次側の出力電圧を帰還電流に変換し、 1次側の トラ ンジ スタのオン時間を制御するコ ンデンサの充電量と、 1次側の スビードア ップ用コ ンデンサの充電量を制御する帰還素子を 有することを特徵とするスィ ツチングレギユレ一タが、
提供される。

以下、 本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。
第 1図に本発明の一実施例のスィ ツチングレギユ レ一夕の 回路図を示す。 図において、 入力電圧は V i である。 抵抗 R 1、 コ ンデンサ C 1、 ダイ オー ド D 1 は ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 の スナバ回路を構成している。 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 と Q 2 は ト ラ ンス Tの卷線 W l、 W 2を帰還ループとする発振回路を構成 し、 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のパルス幅によって、 出力電圧が決ま る。
C 2 は ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1をターンオ ンおよびターンオフす る ときのスピー ドア ップコ ンデンサ、 D 2 は逆方向を阻止す るダイオードである。 抵抗 R 2 は発振開始時の トラ ンジスタ Q 1 のベース電流を供給する。 抵抗 R 3、 R 4 はスピ一 ドア ップコ ンデンサに直列に接続され、 反対側はコ イ ル W 2に接 続されている。 C 3 は ト ラ ンジスタ Q 2 のべ一スに接続され、 このコ ンデンサ C 3 の充放電によって、 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 2 の オン、 オフが制御され、 同時に ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のオ ン、 ォ フが制御され、 出力電圧が制御される。 コ ンデンサ C 3 は抵 抗 R 5、 ダイオー ド D 3のルー トと、 抵抗 R 6、 ツエナ一ダ ィォー ド Z D、 ダィオー ド D 4のルー トおよび抵抗 R 4、 ダ ィオー ド D 6、 フォ トカプラ P C I の 3個のルー トによって 充電され、 抵抗 R 6、 ッヱナ一ダイ オー ド Z D、 ダイ オー ド D 5、 抵抗 R 7のルー トで放電される。
D 0 は出力側のダイオード、 C 0 は出力側の平滑コ ンデン サであり、 出力端子に直流電圧 V 0が出力される。
P C 1 はフォ トカブラであり、 ダイオー ド D 6を通して、
出力電圧を帰還して、 コ ンデンサ C 3への充電電流を制御す る。 S Rはシャ ン ト レギュレータであり、 基準電圧源を内蔵 した一種のオペアンプである。 S Rの働きによって、 帰還ル ープのバラ ンスのとれた状態では、 出力電圧 V 0 はシャ ン ト レギユレータ S Rの基準電圧を V s とすると、
V 0 = V s 〔 ( R 1 1 + R 1 2 ) R 1 2〕
となる。
ここで、 出力 V oが上昇したとすると、 抵抗 R 8 とフォ ト 力ブラ P C 1への電流が増加し、 フォ ト力ブラ P C 1 のコ レ クタ電流が増加し、 コ ンデンサ C 3への充電電流が増加し、 ト ランジスタ Q 2のオンが早く なるため、 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のォン時間ば減少し、 出力電圧を低下させるように動作する。 このようにして、 出力電圧が一定になるように制御されてい る。 抵抗 R 9 はフォ トカブラ P C 1 に電流を流す必要のない 場合の、 シャン ト レギュレータ S Rのもれ電流をバイパスす るための抵抗であり、 コ ンデンサ C 4、 抵抗 R 1 0 は交流の ゲイ ンを安定にさせるための酉路である。
—方、 P C 2 はフォ トカブラであり、 出力電圧が通常の制 御範囲より もさらに上昇しょう とした時に、 S Rに流れる電 流が、 P C 2のバイパス抵抗 R 1 3でバイパスできる以上の 電流となった時、 P C 2に電流が流れ、 この電流を トランジ スタ Q 3 と抵抗 R 1 4で増幅し、 ダイオード D 7、 D 8に供 給するように接続されている。
ダイオード D 8 は、 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 3、 フ ォ トカプラ P C 2からの電流を抵抗 R 7に流し、 コ ンデンサ C 3からの放電
電流を押さえ、 トラ ンジスタ Q 2のオンを早めることにより ト ラ ンジスタ お 1 のオン時間を短縮させる。
ダイオー ド D 7 はフォ ト力ブラ P C 2からの電流を抵抗 R
3及び R 4に流し、 コ ンデンサ C 2の充電量を減少させ、 タ ーンオン時の ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のベース電流を小さ く して、 蓄積時間を減少させ、 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のオフ時間を早く さ せる。
上記の説明では、 出力電圧を帰還するのにフォ トカブラを 使用したが、 他の素子、 例えばフォ トダイォー ド等を使用す ることもできる。
このように、 フォ ト力ブラ P C 2 の帰還電流によって、 ト ラ ンジスタ Q 1 のオ ン時間を減少させることにより、 軽負荷 時の出力電圧の異常な上昇を防止している。 従って、 第 2図 に示すようなダミ一抵抗 R 0 は不要となるため、 電源の効率 が上昇し、 発熱等の問題点が解決される。
以上説明したように本発明では、 軽負荷のとき、 1次側の トラ ンジスタのオン時間を十分に小さ く させるように構成し たので、 ダミー抵抗が不要となり、 電源の効率が上昇し、 発 熱等の問題点が解決され、 信頼性も向上する。
Claims
1 . 出力電圧を 1次側の トラ ンジスタ等のスイ ッチング素 子のパルス幅で制御するスィ ツチングレギュ レークにおいて、
2次側の出力電圧を帰還電流に変換し、 1次側の トランジ スタのオン時間を制御するコ ンデンサの充電量と、 1次側の スビードアップ用コ ンデンサの充電量を制御する帰還素子を 有するこ とを特徴とするスィ ツチングレギユ レータ。
2 . 前記帰還素子はフォ トカブラであることを特徴とする 特許請求の範囲第 1項記載のスィ ツチングレギユレータ。
