Abstract

Un système de location automatisé sans surveillance, pour des articles (305) tels que des cassettes vidéo, comprend une unité de stockage (60) avec des silos (25) fermés électriquement contenant les articles en location (305). Chaque silo et son article a une bande à code d'identification (325). Un terminal client (50) ayant un clavier (1) et un écran d'affichage (5) contrôlé à partir d'un ordinateur (150) permet au client de passer en revue les articles disponibles, les articles en réserve et de choisir des articles en location. Un module de contrôle (55) actionné par l'ordinateur déverrouille le silo sélectionné.
