Definitions
- the invention relates to a venetian blind for fastening to a facade substructure, with a plurality of slats arranged at a spacing from one another and parallel to one another, each of which can be fixedly attached to the facade substructure with an upper fastening end and has a slat body which runs obliquely to the fastening end sen, which merges into a lower fastening end, which consists of a lower groove open to the facade substructure, which has a somewhat more than semicircular cross-section and is opposite an upper groove, which covers the upper fastening end of the respective lower lamella and is open to the lower groove of the respective upper lamella.
- the invention also relates to a blind in which, in addition to the features listed above, each lamella is fastened to the facade substructure by means of a console which, with a hook-shaped web, engages over the upper fastening end of the lamella from above and with the free end of one of them the leg extending away from the facade substructure engages in a supporting manner in a holder provided on the underside of the associated lamella.
- the facade substructure consists of vertically arranged support profiles designed as a rail with a groove extending in the longitudinal direction, into which the lamellae are inserted at at least two points holding brackets, each of which has a leg abutting the support profile and have a leg protruding at right angles from the support profile. The latter, with its free end bent downward, engages in an upwardly open groove provided on the underside of the lamella.
- the upper groove of each lamella is approximately elliptical in cross section and has an outer contour which forms a flat contact web and which approximately corresponds to the inner contour of the hook-shaped web of the console mentioned.
- each individual slat is pushed in its longitudinal direction with its upper fastening end into the hook-shaped web of the console and with its holder arranged on the underside of the slat body onto the downwardly bent end of the console leg.
- the lower and upper groove of each slat are only used to hold a ventilation grille or the like. , which is inserted with an oval thickening in the longitudinal direction of the slat in the upper groove of the respective lower slat and engages with a thickening opposite the oval thickening in the lower groove of the respective upper slat.
- a disadvantage of this known construction is that it is not very flexible to use. Only a rigid attachment of the individual slats is provided and possible. Their assembly is particularly difficult in the case of very wide blinds and accordingly long slats and in confined spaces, since both the slats and any ventilation grilles that are provided are in each case from the side in the longitudinal direction, ie over their full length must be inserted. - 3 -
- the invention is therefore based on the object of creating a blind of the type mentioned, the slats of which can be used with greater flexibility.
- each lamella also has a somewhat more than semicircular cross section and forms the part of a rotary bearing about which the lamella can be pivoted.
- a fastening screw is inserted into the upper groove of each lamella, which forms another part of the pivot bearing. Furthermore, it can be expedient if a sleeve is inserted into the upper groove for receiving the fastening screw mentioned.
- the sleeve mentioned can also be a threaded sleeve.
- the venetian blind according to the invention has the advantage that the angle of the slat relative to the building wall can be adjusted very easily using the upper pivot bearing.
- ventilation openings or light openings 1 openings can be adjusted from completely open to completely closed.
- a simple Verstel 1 mechani smus is given when at the lower fastening end of each lamella perpendicular to the lower groove slots are provided, through each of which protrudes a bolt fastened on both sides of the slot in the lower groove, which is surrounded by an adjusting rod 1.
- An up and down movement of the adjustment rod 1 leads to a uniform change in the inclination of the slats.
- the consoles provided prevent the slat inclination from being adjusted. With this solution, however, the above-mentioned ventilation grilles or the like. Find use. According to the invention it is provided that the slats designed according to the invention for the first alternative also remain unchanged for the second alternative
- each lamella also has a somewhat more than semicircular cross section and forms the part of a rotary bearing around which the lamella can be pivoted;
- said holder on the underside of each lamella consists of a web extending in the longitudinal direction thereof with a latching projection which snaps behind a fastening hook of said bracket leg when the lamella is installed;
- the hook-shaped web of the console or the insertion slot formed by this web for the upper fastening end of the lamella is designed such that the lamella is held in a locked position only by the hook-shaped web, but in an approximately horizontal position from the mentioned receiving chamber can be pulled out.
- the slats are therefore no longer mounted in the longitudinal direction from the side, but perpendicular to the building facade, transverse to the longitudinal direction.
- Each slat can be inserted in the approximated .. horizontal position into the receiving chamber formed by the hook-shaped web of the console and then around the 5 -
- this ventilation grille can be pressed into this upper groove with a thickened edge adapted to the inner contour of the upper groove of the lamella.
- the edge opposite the first edge of the ventilation grille is also pressed into the lower groove of the respective upper slat.
- a spatially clever arrangement is given in that the locking projection on the underside of the lamella shows the lower fastening end of the lamellar body, and that the web carrying the locking lug is arranged approximately twice as far from the upper as from the lower fastening end.
- the rotary bearing provided according to the invention for the upper slat end can also be installed in the lower slat end, while maintaining all essential advantages, which is then to be fixed in place on the facade substructure.
- the closed blind would then be approximately in the facade level.

- FIGs 2 and 3 schematically illustrate the fastening tion of the lamella shown in Figure 1 so that its inclination is adjustable.
- the upper fastening end of the blade is fixed in that a sleeve 7 is inserted in the groove 2, in which a projecting through a hole in the strip 6 Schrau ⁇ be screwed 8 i 'st.
- a sleeve 9, into which a bolt 10 is screwed, is also inserted into the groove at the lower fastening end.
- the bolt 10 bridges a slot 11, which is introduced into the slat at the lower fastening end and extends perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the slat. In the slot 11, an adjusting rod 12 holds the bolt 10.
- the inclination of the slats arranged one below the other can be adjusted jointly by an up and down movement of the adjusting rod 12, which is indicated in FIG. 3 by means of a double arrow. This is possible because the screw 8 or the bolt 10 can rotate within the grooves 2, 3 about the axes of rotation 13 indicated in FIG. 3.
- FIGS. 4 to 8 show an alternative fastening of the slats, which does not allow the slats to be tilted, but shows other advantages.

- the free end of the leg 18 is one Provided at an acute angle upward hook 19, behind which engages a locking projection 20 of the web 4 pointing towards the lower fastening end of the lamella.
- the lamella is therefore fastened to the bracket 14 by snapping the locking projection 20 of the web 4 behind the fastening hook 19 after the outer contour of the groove 2 has been inserted into the receiving chamber 15 of the bracket 14.
- FIG. 4 shows that a ventilation grille 22 is inserted between the groove 3 of an upper lamella open to the rail 16 and the open groove 2 of the lamella below which points away from the rail 15 and which is connected to ⁇ r by the latching of the upper lamella Console 14 is mit ⁇ attached.
- the ventilation grille has two longitudinal webs 23 which are adapted to the inner contour of the grooves 2, 3 and which can be designed such that they are held in the grooves 2, 3 with a certain locking effect.
- the brackets can be moved in the rail 16 by means of a T-shaped extension 24 in the longitudinal direction of the rail 16.
- the T-shaped projection 24 consists of two legs which have a free space between them.
- the projection 24 is formed from an elastic material which allows the legs of the projection 24 to be pressed together so that the projection 24 can be pressed into the rail 16.
- On the upper side of the bracket this is provided with a filler piece 25, which enters the space between the two legs of the extension 24 and locks the two brackets 14 together.
