La machine comprend deux plateformes de levage (2, 3) situees symetriquement de part et d'autre d'une table d'alimentation (4) au-dessus de laquelle est installe un dispositif d'emplacement des feuilles (5), des elements de prehension mobiles le long de guides a angles droits par rapport a l'avancement de la feuille vers les lames (1), et une coulisse (10) de la table d'alimentation (4) ayant des elements de prise (18) avec des plaques d'arret (19) paralleles a la ligne de coupe.
