Abstract
Método para diseñar una planta que presenta una acetilación reducida en las paredes celulares. El método comprende expresar al menos un plolinucleótido heterólogo asilado que codifica una enzima acetilxilano esterasa (AXE) en las paredes de las células de la planta, con la transcripción bajo el control de un promotor regulado por el desarrollo que presenta actividad específicamente en las paredes de las células vegetales cuando ocurre el depósito de una pared.
