Abstract

La presente invención refiere al campo de materiales grafíticos magnéticos, a procesos de preparación de materiales nanoestructurados a partir de grafito comercial puro y óxidos de metales de transición en atmósfera inerte o vacío y bajo calentamiento. Un proceso de preparación de materiales grafíticos magnéticos a partir de grafito en un recipiente (3) que reacciona con uno o más óxidos de metales de metales de transición en un recipiente (2) en proporción en volumen cerca de 1:1, en un reactor (1) cerrado es calentado a temperaturas entre 600SC y la temperatura de fusión del (los) óxido(s) de metales de transición, durante 6 a 36 horas, sobre una presión de hasta 10 atmósferas con auxilio de un gas inerte de transferencia vía (5) y vacío entre 10-2 torr hasta 10-7 torr vía (6), al final del proceso es obtenido un material grafítico con propiedades magnéticas duraderas a temperatura ambiente. El material obtenido presenta estructura compleja, con poros, racimos, apilamientos y aristas de grafenos expuestos y encuentra aplicación en imagen magnética en medicina, o aún en aplicaciones de nanotecnología, comunicaciones, electrónica, sensores, así mismo biosensores, catálisis o separación de materiales magnéticos.
