Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de composiciones farmacéuticas que forman un gel de lecitina in vivo para la liberación mantenida de un compuesto biológicamente activo que comprende: a- una parte en peso de un disolvente orgánico farmacéuticamente aceptable que no es sustancialmente soluble en agua; b- una cantidad terapéuticamente efectiva de dicho compuesto biológicamente activo que se dispersa en dicho disolvente; y c- un acelerador de 0,1 a alrededor 0,2 partes en peso de una lecitina que se dispersa en un disolvente farmacéuticamente aceptable que no sea sustancialmente soluble en agua, adicionar el ingrediente activo y homogeneizar la mezcla. En una realización particular el biológicamente activo es interferón alfa o es un factor liberador de hormona en desarrollo o un análogo respectivo.
