To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, JAMES Prurrs, of the city and county of Philadeli'ihie, State ofPenn- Sylvania, have originated and designed :t pattern for a Nubia, of which the following is e full, clear, and exact description, reference being hed to the accompanying photographic illustration making part of this specilication.
The nature of my design is fully represented in the accompanying photographic illustra,- tiou, to which reference is mede.
B represents e portion of the body of the nubie, and A a portion of the border. The body may be figured as desired, but the border consists of three parallel stripes, a b c, were in a` zigzag order. The stripe a, which is at the extreme edge, represents four threads grouped together, stripe b two, und stripe c two threads. The stripes are arranged a. short distance apart, with e portion of the body shown between them.
Vilhat I clnim as my invention is- A design for :t nubia, in which the border is composed of stripes, a, b, ende, weve in @zigzag order, and representing four threads grouped together in one stripe, and two threads in each ot' the other two stripes, Substantially in the manner Shown and described.
