DESlGN FOR RANGE-STOVE.
Specification forming part of Design No. 6,134, dated September 10,1872.
Specification describing a Design for Ben ge- Stoves, invented by JOHN R. Rose and En- WARD L. OALELY, Jr., of the city of Philadelphia, in the State of Pennsylvania.
The nature of our design is fully represented in the acoompanyingphotographic illustration and sectional drawing, to which reference is made.
Figure 1 represents a. perspective view of the range-stove complete; and Figs. 2, 3, 4, 5, respective transverse sections of the moldings of the top plate, bottom plate, hearth, and ends, and of the door-plates.
A, is the molding around the outer edge of the top plate a,- B, the ed gemolding around the front and sides of the hearth b of the bottom plate, (see Fig. 3;) O, the edge-moldin g on the right and left hand sides of the bottom plate, (see Fig. 4;) D, the edge-molding of the door :1 of the oven, and of the door d" of the fire-box, (see Fig. 5.) The panel of the doors d and d", and also the panels of the end plates d'" of the range-stove, Fig. 1, are ornamented by has-relief, str -'ght lines 1; r, crossing each other at the four corners of the panel by the intervening qnarterfoils w w and by the central figure w, as shown in Fig. 1.
We claim as our invention of a design for the rat: ge-stove shown- 1. The edge-molding A of the top plate a, as shown in Figs. 1 and 2.
2. The edge-molding B of the hearth b of the bottom plate, as shown in Figs. 1 and 3.
3. The edge-molding O of the right and left hand edges of the bottom-plate, as shown in Figs. 1 and 4.
4. The edge-molding D of the doors of the oven and of the lire-box, as shown in Figs. 1 and 5.
5. The has-relief ornamentations to, w w, and a: on the panels of the doors d and d, and on the panel d of the sides of the rangestove, as shown in Fig. 1.
