@witnesses UNITED STATES PATENT OFFICE.
I'IIRAM G. IVIIISON, OF MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, ASSIGNOR TO JOIIN C. IIIGDON, OF IVASIIINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
DESIGN FOR A GAS-STOVE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 19,281, dated August 20, 1889.
Application led July 23, 1889- Serial No. 318,431. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom, it may concern:
Be it known that I, IIIRAM G. IVILSON, of Minneapolis, ll'ennepin county, State of Minnesota, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Gas-Stoves, of which the following is'a full, clear, and exact description, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part hereof.
My invention consists in a design for agasi o stove, and is fully described hereinafter in connection with the accompanying' drawings, wherein- Figure l is a View of a gas-stove embodying my design, shown in sectional perspective;
15 and Fig. 2 is a perspective View ot the cones forming a part of the design.
The essential or leading feature of the design consists in a easing A, having upper and lower inelosing heads or ends I B', and within zo which are arranged inverted hollow Cones I) E F, the walls of which are in parallel planes, the apexes of said cones D and F being in perfeet form, while the cone E is of truncated form. This series of cones consists of three members, as shown in the drawings, and said cones are provided with central and peripheral openings, alternately, as shown, but are otherwise perfect in form and outline. The lower cone l) is provided with a peripheral opening 3o o, the upper cone F is provided withasimilar peripheral opening o, and the intermediate cone is provided with a central opening o. and
a peripheral vertical projection b, as shown. The upper and lower ends ll Il of the casing are provided with central openings in vertical alignment with each other, above which are arranged hollow projections G and (l, respectively. The bases of the cones, as will be seen, are arranged in planes parallel with the upper and lower ends of the casing, whereby the convergent walls of the cones are arranged in planes which are parallel to each other, and the several apexes of the cones are in alignment with the projections G and C and also with each other. The casing thus has its interior surface unbroken and devoid of all other openings and projections than centrally located and aligned ones.
Having thus described my design, I claim-w The design fora gas-stove herein described, consisting of a easing having upper and lower closed ends provided with centrally-located openings and hollow projections, and the inverted hollow cones D E F, arranged within said Casing with. their walls in parallel planes and provided alternately with central and peripheral openings, substantially as shown and described.
In testimony whereof I aix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
IIIRAM G. XVILSON. Witnesses:
CHAs. ll. MANsHIr, W. G. GATES.
