To all whom it may concern:

Be it known that I, WILLIAM M. LARRA- BEE, a citizen of the United States, residing at Waupun, in the county of Fond du Lac, State of Wisconsin, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for Collar- Buttons, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.

This invention relates to a design for collar buttons and like fastening devices for wearing apparel.

In the drawings Figure 1 is a perspective view of a collar button, showing the ornamental design therefor.

Fig. 2 is a view in side elevation of the same.

This invention is a collar button of such a design as to create an ornamental impression on the eye. The ornamental design of this collar button consists in the particular structure comprising the base 1 which is curved transversely to correspond with the curvature of the neck and having a thin flat elongated shank 2 rising from the convexed face of the base and being formed integrally with a second base 3, which is circular and of a diameter equal to the length of the thin flat shank. The base 3 abruptly tapers into a shank 4, which is cylindrical as shown. The upper end of the shank abruptly curves or tapers into a circular head 5 of a trifle less diameter than the base 3. This head 5 on its edge is rounded as shown, and its upper face is bulged or convexed. This convexed or bulged surface and rounded edge of the head 5 is provided with carvings, engraving, or cuts or impressions, which together with the other foregoing features constitute the new and original ornamental design for collar buttons, as herein shown. The ornamentation of the head 5 specifically comprises a series of convoluted lines and spots intermediate or alternating with the lines, which lines and spots may be raised or depressed or otherwise engraved or out upon the head, particularly on the rounded edge. The bulged or convexed surface of the head 5 is provided with the etchings, radiating from a spotted center. However, in Fig. 2 the engraving or 'etchings or other ornamentations are eliminated.

The invention having been set forth what is claimed as new and original is The ornamental design for a collar button, as shown and described.
