DESIGN FOR A CASTER-BOTTLE.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 12,651, dated January 3, 1882, Application led December 3,1881. Terni of patent 3lyears.
To all ywhom 'it may concern Be itknown thatI, JOHN HoAuE, a citizen of the United States ot'Ar1ierica,iesiding atCorning, in the county of Steuben and State ot' New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Oasterlottles, anfl I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description ot' the same, ret'erence being had to the accompanying drawings, and to letters or figures ot' reference marked thereon, which form a part of this specification.
My invention relates to designs for casterbottles, the essential feature ofthe design con` sisting of decorated rings or projections surrounding the body ofthe bottle, and combined with a vaseshaped neck and ornamental vaseshaped stoppt-r, as hereinafter more fully described.
The drawing represents the bottle with stopper in place. Near the lower end of the bottl'e are lenticular indentations c a, and at or near its center is a projecting ring or band, A,
that is iiuted diagonally. This band serves to support the bottle in the castenframe. Above the band A, and separated from it by a curved or rounded depression, is a tapering band, B, ornamented by engraving or etching in any desired manner. The band B forms a base for the vase-shaped neck O, within which is inserted a cup or vase shaped stopper, D, that is ornamented upon its outer side and edge, while its interior may serve as a bouquetholder.
I claim- The design for a easter-bottle herein shown and described, the same consisting ot' the ornamental rings or bands A B, surrounding the body ofthe bottle, the vase-shaped neck O, and vase-shaped stopper D, as set forth.
