The leading feature of my design for abottle consists, mainly, in the peculiar form of its lower body portion, which is surmounted by a comparatively long neck or stem, as hereinafter more fully described.

The body portion A of the bottle or ornament has the appearance of being turned in a lathe in circular outline, and is largest in diameter about at its central portion, where it has a corner .outline 1, from which the sides'of the bottle curve inward and upward in concaved lines 2 to the neck or stem (1,.

which may be cylindrical or have like diameter throughout, but is shown enlarged toward its npper'end. Frdin the corner-line 1 the sides of the bottle curve downward and inward in vertically-convexed outlines 3 to the base or bottom 4. Near the circumferential corner 1 the body of the bottle is provided in its convexed lower surface 3 with a circumferential groove or concavity 5, all as clearly shown in the drawing.

An ordinary cut-glass stopper is represented in theneck or stem of the bottle.
