le it known that I, Mon'rhuoa WooLr, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing at New York, in the county and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for Bottles, of which the following is aspccitication, reference being bad to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, which represents a side view of my newly-designed bottle.
The essential feature of my design consists of a curvilinear contraction in the body of the bottle, combined with a flat base, a globular shoulder, and a straight neck with an ornamented piece.
In the drawing, A represents the contracted portion of the bottle, and B the base portion, having rounded outlines b,the bottom 13' thereof being of smaller diameter than the body of the base B. The shoulder U is globular. having the center thereof in the line of the axis of the bottle, the outlines of the globnlarl shoulder and the base ll being connected by the inward curve or curvilinear line l The neck 1) is straight and plain, except at its upper part, where it has outer projections, and at the opening or mouthpiece is a head, as shown in the drawing.
\Vhat I claim is A design for a bottle. consisting of a base having curved outlines and a bottom of less diameter than the body of the base, a globular shoulder having the center of the axis of the bottle for center 01 circle of outline, a neck straight and plain, except the upper portion, having outer projections and beaded mouthpiece, all substantially as shown.
