HARRY A. ROGERS, OF NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK.
DESIGN FOR A FINGER-RING BLANK.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 33,934, dated January 22, 1901.
Application filed December 22, 1900. Serial No. 4:0,828. Term of patent 3% years- To aZZ whom it may concern.-
Beitknown that I, HARRY A. ROGERS,& citizen of the United States, residing at Niagara Falls, in the county of Niagara and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and useful Design for Finger-Ring Blanks, of which the following is a specification.
My invention relates to new and useful designs for finger-ring blanks; and the object of the same is to produce a device of attractive design Which can be bent into the form of a finger-ring and so worn.
The following is a specification of my new design,.reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof, in Which Figure 1 is a plan view of my blank. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the same.
Like numerals of reference designate like parts in both views of the drawings.
The numeral 1 designates the shank portion of my blank, which is uniformly beveled on the two sides 2 and the top 3 from one end to the other. A pyramidal point 4 is formed on one end of the shank 1 and a frustopyramidal head 5 on the other. This combination of the shank 1, point a, and head 5 has approximately the shape of a nail. On the outer face of the head 5 is formed a buffalos head 6, cut off just back of the horns. Panels 7 and S are formed on the top surface of the shank and head, respectively, on which names or dates may be placed.
The essential feature of my design is the nail-shaped shank portion uniformly beveled on the two sides and top and surmounted by a frustum-pyramidal head bearing a buffalos head on its outer face.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and wish to secure by Letters Patent, is
The design for a finger-ring blank, as herein shown and described.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand in presence of two subscribing witnesses.
HARRY A. ROGERS.
