DESIGN FOR A CORNER-PIECE FOR COFFINS AND GASKETS.
Application filed September 11, 1914.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, AooLPH M. HoLsTEIN, a citizen of the United States, residing at Syracuse, in the county of Onondaga and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Corner-Piece for Coffins and Caskets, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming a part thereof.
In the drawing, Figures 1., 2 and 8 are, respectively, side and front elevations and top plan view of my design for a corner piece for coffins and caskets.
This design of corner piece for coffins includes angularly arranged faces having lengthwise transversely rounded ridges extending from the upper to the lower end thereof, the corner piece having a base and a body tapering downwardly toward the base, the upper end of the body being of Specification for Design.

substantially the same width as the lower end of the base. The portions of the ridges 1 on the body taper in accordance with the tapering of the body, and the portions of the ridges on the base resemble two rows of bulbs 2 one above the other. The upper end of each ridge 1 is capped by a leaf-like figure 3.
I claim:
The ornamental design for a corner piece for coffins and caskets, substantially as shown and described.
