DESIGN FOR A LABEL-BLANK.
Specification for Design.
Patented Jan. 11, 1910.
Application filed November 13, 1909. Serial No. 527,957. Term of patent 7 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, SAMUEL COHN, a citizen ot' the United States, residing at the city of New York, borough of Manhattan, in the county and State of New York, have invented a new, original, and ornamental Design for a Label-Blank, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof, in which is shown a face View of a label-blank incorporating my said design.
In said drawing, the label blank is shown as of rectangular outline having a plain border. The body portion of said label blank within said border, is ornamented to term a background representing the grain of a section oi wood. In each of the corners of said label blank, within the outer border thereof, is disposed a circular ornament or head, and adjacent. to the upper edge of said label blank is arranged a horizontal panel having its ends terminating in ornamental portions formed of conventionalized foliage.
Below said panel and near the central portion of the label blank is displayed an ornamental shield of irregular outline bearing the representation of a lioninmpant. Sprays of conventionalized foliage are shown as partially surrounding or inclosing said ornamental shield. Adjacent to the lower edge of the label blank is shown a horizontal scroll or band, and upon one corner of said band is shown a seal bearing the representation of a bird issuant, the head of which is surmounted by a star. Sprays of grain are shown extending from one corner of said label blank and passing under the seal. and across the label blank above said scroll or band.
I claim The ornamental design for a label blank, as herein shown and described.
