DESIGN FOR A CENTERPIECE FOR STOVE-TOPS.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 35,302, dated. November 19, 1901.
Application filed August 23, 1901. Serial No. 73,101. Term of patent 14 years.
.To all whom, it may concern.-
Be it known that I, ARTHUR B. CLUNIES,& citizen of the United States, and a resident of Rochester, in the county of Monroe and State of New York, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Centerpiece for Stove-Tops; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the same, in connection with the accornpanying drawings, forminga part thereof.
My design consists in the general shape and configuration of a stove-top center illustrated in the drawings, of which- Figure l is a perspective view of a centercasting constructed in accordance with my design, and Fig. 2 is a top plan View thereof.
Similar reference-letters in the two figures indicate similar parts.
A stove-top centerpiece constructed in accordance with my design consists of a body portion having a substantially fiat top A. The one end a is broader than the other I) and has the end face extending downwardly and provided with cut-out portions 0. At the rear sides of the centerpiece are the faces D, sloping outwardly to a shelf or flange d, which also extends around the end b. Arranged upon the shelf 61 are the projections E, having the curved or rounded upper surfaces, as shown. The sides of the body curve outwardly at the forward end, forming the curved parallel faces Ff, between which is a narrow face G, the latter lying between the face fand the top A. Located between the outwardly-curving portions at the forward end of the top is a recess H.
Having described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
Thedesign for a centerpiece for stove-tops, substantially as herein shown and described.
