DESIGN FOR A STOVE-DOOR.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design N0. 33,797, dated December 1900. Application filed December 3, 1900. derial No. 38,566. Term of patent 14 years.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, JOHN R. CARTER, residing at Augusta, in the county of Bracken and State of Kentucky, and JOSEPH E. IIAUS- FELD, residing at Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton and State of Ohio, citizens of the United States, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Stove-Door, of which the following, is a specification, refm erence being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.
In the accompanying drawings, Figure I is a perspective view, and Fig. 2 is a view in section on the line a: m of the same.
The leading feature of our design consists of a stove-door comprising a main portion, a border-around the edge thereof in relief, having approximately parallel sides and rounded or curved in the are of a circle at the up- 20 per corners, and the upright side portions of the borderwidenecl, so as to project inwardly out of the plane of the main portion thereof. 1 represents the main portion of the door,
and 2 the border in relief around the edge thereof and having approximately parallel side edges. The upper corners of the border 2 and main portion 1 are rounded or curved in the arc of a circle, as shown at 3, and the inner edges of the border 2 at the lower corners of the door are also rounded or curved in the are of a circle, as shown at 5. The central portions of the border at the sides of the main portion 1 are widened, so as to project inwardly, as shown at 4, and said widened portions made with a straight inner edge.
What we claim is- The design for a stove-door herein shown and described.
