SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 34,832, dated July 23, 1901.

This invention relates to a new and original design for hubs of friction-clutches and similar machines.

o The leading feature of my new design for hubs of friction-clutches consists in the design of the hub,as herein shown and described.
As shown in the drawings, the member 5 has at one side the central conical extension 6 with the annular groove 7 and the open perforations S 8 in said groove. From the periphery of the member 5 extends the flange 9, forming a circular chamber at this side of the member, of which the extension 10 is centrally disposed, the extensions 6 and 10 being centrally perforated.
What I claim is- The design for a hub for friction-clutches and similar machines as herein shown and described.
