SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 30,989, dated June 13, 1899. Application filed May 19,1899. Serial No. 717,502. Term of patent 14 years.

Be it known that I, JAMES MARsDEN, a subject of the Queen of Great Britain, residing at \Vigan, in the county of Lancaster, England,

5 have invented and produced a new and original Design for Die-Plates, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming part thereof.

[0 In said drawings, Figure 1 is a plan View of a die-plate, showing my new design. Fig. 2 is an edge elevation of the same. Fig. 3 is a sectional View on line I 3, Fig. 1.

As shown in the drawings, the leading or IE material feature of my design consists of a circular die-plate A, formed with a central opening B, concentric depressions O D, and a circu ar series of perforations a. a a in the outer rim of the die-plate, said perforations being of graduated sizes arranged as shown. 20 Having thus described my invention, what I claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is
