DESIGN FOR A CLOCK-CASE.

The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.

To call whom 'it may concern:

Be it known that I, SILAS B. TERRY, of VVatcI-bury, in the county of New Haven, and State of Connecticut, have invented anew and original Desi gn for Clock-Case; and I do hereby declare that the following is a full, clear, and exact description thereof, which will enable others skilled in the art to make and use the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part of this specification, in which-- Figure 1 represents a front elevation of my improved clock-case.

Figure 2 is a side elevation of the same.

Similar letters of reference indicate corresponding parts.

This invention relates to a new design for metallic clock-cases for pendulum clocks.

The case A is made of rectangular form, with a rounded top, and with an enlarged base, a.

The connection between the base and the body of the case is made by two mouldings, b and c, of which the upper one, I), is a torus, and the lower one a scatia, as shown.

These mouldings pass around the front and sides of the case.

The case has a circular opening, for the dial-plate, said opening being closed by a swinging cover, B, with a glass pane set into its projecting rim, cl, as shown.
